Hi friends! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and even better I hope you have a few days to catch your breath and relax. We had a wonderful Christmas!

We snapped a quick family photo right after our Christmas Eve service. Of course, everyone wanted to leave, but when you have 1600 people at the service, you’re not going anywhere quick so why not get a photo?

In case, you haven’t seen my whole family, our son Cory is on the far left with his girlfriend, Anna. Then our daughter’s family is on the right of Wayne and I, Courtney, Colt, Claire, and AJ.

I did not want ANYTHING for Christmas, really I didn’t. Being with my family is my Christmas gift. Our kids surprised us with tickets to see Amy Grant at the Cincinnati Music Hall in February.

We had tickets to see her Christmas show in November, but we didn’t get to go because my mother-in-law passed away. They knew I was disappointed, so they made up for it with tickets to her concert in February. I was thrilled!

We had all my family and Wayne’s brother and his wife over for Christmas dinner yesterday. It was so fun, and the big hit was Colt’s go-kart that we got him for Christmas.

A bunch of us braved the cold weather and went outside to watch the kids ride, and Wayne got his four-wheeler out for the big kids.

This was Claire’s first Christmas, and it was special.

While Christmas is wonderful it’s also a little exhausting so I’m going to do as little as possible today.
