Weekend Casual Outfit-January

Oh, I love Saturdays, don’t you? It’s typically my catch up day! I like to clean, and since it’s the new year, I’m still organizing. I also seem always to have errands to run.

Today I’m sharing a weekend casual outfit that’s perfect to wear out and about. It’s comfortable, and that’s a must if you’re going to be walking a lot.

Weekend Casual Outfit-January

I shared these riding boots with you yesterday, and I forgot to link them. I have had these for several years, so they are no longer available on the Coach website, but I did find them on Amazon.

Riding boots are a classic piece, that doesn’t go out of style, so I spent a little more money on this boot. This is the newer version of the Coach boot that I’m wearing. Here are some more riding boots that are great options:

I have been carrying this Sole Society handbag as my everyday bag. It’s roomy, and it also has an over the shoulder strap that you can attach.

You can’t go wrong with leggings, and I have been wearing these all fall and winter. They are a soft legging that’s not tight, so they are really comfortable.

Of course, my cardigan is long enough in the back to cover all the things.

Well, let’s get this day started!!

Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and, Instagram.

Beauty For The Heart~~Ephesians 4:29 (TPT) says, And never let ugly or hateful words come from your mouth, but instead let your words become beautiful gifts that encourage others; do this by speaking words of grace to help them.

Oh, that we would take this verse to heart! Today, ask the Lord to help you guard your words. Before you speak ask yourself the following questions:

  • Does this need to be said?
  • Am I saying this out of anger?
  • Is this something Jesus would want me to say?

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cyndi, love this look and have a similar sweater It is light weight however. If you had to add another layer, what would you suggest? Thanks.

  2. Cyndi, love the adorable outfit. So simple yet so put together. I’m curious to know what you served your guests for lunch. We’re very involved in church and I find it difficult to prepare a meal at lunch on Sundays especially a healthy one. We find ourselves eating out way too often.

  3. loved the beauty for the heart and three suggestions. Now, how t=do you handle the person who failed to ask themselves those three questions before speaking ????? Yhanks,Cyndi

  4. I love this casual outfit! You look so comfortable.
Also, thank you for today’s Beauty For The Heart,
    I needed that!!
    Have a blessed evening!!

  5. You posted the other day about heading to Trader Joe’s to stock up on some healthy snacks/food. What are some things you like to snack on? Do you eat a low carb type diet? I just turned 49 and it seems things are shifting on the body…. 😖

  6. Your boots look super comfy. Comfort is what is needed when we ladies have errands to run

  7. I absolutely love everything about this outfit. I have a pair of riding boots this color with a bit of darker brown on them very much like your purse… but these ones are on my radar… I may put off until next year as mine will soon have to be replaced. We are heading out for a casual family brunch so I may actually wear an outfit similar to this. Thank you for your BFTH such true words and a great reminder to us all. Do you find the handbag a little on the big side? I’ve been looking at it on their website…Also I’m hosting a family lunch tomorrow as well with my go to crock pot roast which falls apart its so tender and of course veggies. Have a great day and enjoy your lunch tomorrow I’m sure they will love what ever you serve.
    Blessings
    Karen

  8. Cyndi thanks so much for sharing all the options on the riding boots. I’m still not sure on the shaft hight on the coach boots. They say 16 and also 15? But they look like they hit you at a good point but you are much taller than me. I also like how you mixed an Athleisure outfit with boots instead of tennis shoes to add warmth. I think I will order those boots on Amazon and give them a try.
Whenever I’m feeding a big crowd and don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen I make a roast in my crockpot. It’s such a good meal and goes great with cornbread. If you sear your ur roast on both sides before puttting in the crockpot it really turns out juicy and yummy. Enjoy your day!

  9. Great outfit Cyndi! Good luck with deciding what to serve for lunch tomorrow. I’m sure whatever you prepare, it will be delicious because you prepared it from your heart. The sun finally made an appearance here too (south central Georgia) late yesterday after 7+ wet and gloomy days. God bless!

  10. Hi Cyndi! I just started following you. I saw your hair and loved it and that is what peaked my interest. Now I find that you love Jesus too!!! It’s so wonderful to find a sister in Christ that enjoys looking nice and putting together beautiful outfits. So glad I found you ♡ Truly Seeking Him! Your friend, Jan
