Valentine’s Date Night Outfit

Valentine’s Day is sneaking up on me! Next Thursday is THE day so I thought I would share a very simple Valentine’s Date Night Outfit. You probably have something similar in your closet.

If I am unsure what I want to wear, my go-to date night outfit is adding a pretty pair of heels to my outfit.

Valentine's Date Night OutfitThese heels from Sole Society do not disappoint. I didn’t realize when I styled these that they are almost sold out in this color, they also have them in black and nude. I shared the black and nude ones HERE.

Valentine's Date Night OutfitMy red blouse is from LOFT and it’s 40% off right now. It’s such a pretty red color and would be a nice workwear blouse.

Valentine's Date Night OutfitHave you all heard of Gigi New York? They have the most beautiful handbags! If you love leather bags, you will love Gigi. The crossbody bag I’m carrying is this one. Unfortunately, they no longer have my color.

It’s hard to see but it has my initials in gold on the bag. They have free personalization on all their bags. They are also having a winter sale HERE.

Valentine's Date Night OutfitMy jeans are from LOFT. They’re the modern skinny jeans and they also have them in curvy.

Valentine's Date Night Outfit Nothing to fancy but ready for a Valentine’s date night with my sweetheart.

If you want to be a bit dressier, you could always wear this blouse with a black skirt.

For more Valentine’s Date Night inspiration visit some of my sweet blogging friends, Deborah from Fabulous After 40 and Jo-Lynne Shane. They are both sharing date night outfits and they look gorgeous!

Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and, Instagram.

Beauty For The Heart~~Weak moments don’t make a weak faith. Weak moments make us even more aware of our need to press into faith. A faith in God that helps us know that what we see isn’t all there is. -Lysa Terkeurst

There are moments when we don’t understand, we question God, why is He allowing this to happen. I think we’ve all been there, but lean into Him, trust that we aren’t seeing the whole picture.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cute outfit! Eating out at Valentine’s has been a disaster for us a couple of times….crowds, waiting even with reservations, overspending for a basic meal so the last several years we have had several couples over…We have steaks and/or seafood and all the trappings for much less money, and it is more comfortable, easier to converse and all around more fun….It’s also fun to decorate the table for Valentines which feels special too….Our first choice always….stay in or go to a friends house!

  2. I love both outfits, you look wonderful and I agree
that Valentine’s Day is such a pressured time for men
and women. There should be LOVE everyday in your
    relationship!!
    Have a blessed evening!!

  3. Beautiful outfit and could really wear anytime… those shoes🤗. Hope you enjoy the concert I remember when you had to cancel. Such a thoughtful gift. We are getting together with three other couples on Saturday night… so will just do something at home with maybe order in:) I don’t mind acknowledging the day but no need to go overboard lol

  4. You look great in anything!!! Love the dark jeans and beautiful heels on you! I taught School for 30 years and never wore high heels!! Continue to enjoy all your fashion advice!!!

  5. I agree! It’s just another Halmark holiday. Why celebrate love on a Givdn day? Restaurants are crowded, noisy and their prices are upped. I prefer a gift given unexpected. Then it is out of love, not obligation to check the box. I believe in showing love everyday in small and big ways.
Both outfits are perfect for a date night Cyndi! Enjoy the Amy Grant concert. That was so sweet of your children to buy you tickets. I can tell you have a close and loving relationship.

  6. So beautiful and perfectly my style too! I thought about getting reservations at a nice restaurant , but I’m not 100% sure yet! My hubby probably won’t do it! LOL!

  7. I love the simplicity of your Valentine outfit, and that handbag is so pretty!
Unlike several “Valentine Scrooge’s” I’ve met lately, I am not one of them! I do believe Valentines can be overkill and can be a hard day for many but I love the idea of an extra special day set aside just to make your loved ones feel extra loved! We should love others every day of the year but we should also be thankful every day of the year and yet we set aside one day of the year to focus on our gratitude (Thanksgiving)! It’s all in our perspective and the attitude of our heart. Happy ❤️ Day!

  8. Love the frayed jeans from Loft. I tried on a pair yesterday and they seemed to run small.(I wear a petite). Did you notice the same?
You post a lot of cross body bags but don’t model them “cross body.” Am I misunderstanding the current trend?

    1. I do think the Loft jeans run a little smaller than normal. I went with my regular size hoping they might stretch out a bit.

Also, the company calls them crossbody bags. If I’m out shopping with these bags I wear them that crossbody but for pictures, it doesn’t always look good so I style it on my shoulder.

  9. Love the comb of both outfits and Loft is my go to store for petite clothes. Never heard of the Gigi bags so thanks for sharing. Today’s my day off and I have a list of things to do and glad to hear I’m not the only one who still makes lists. 😉

  10. I have the black & tan shoes on the way. I wanted the tan but didn’t have my size. So, I found some just about just like them at DSW. Hoping they will be comfortable and pretty…..fingers crossed, but can’t wait to get the black and tan from Sole Society.

  11. Love those shoes! I would want the nude color for Spring but not in my size – will check back later. Have fun at the concert!

  12. Those shoes are gorgeous with great reviews on comfort and quality. Unfortunately, they are sold out in almost every size in the tan color. I am on the wait list and hope they are restocked soon! Maybe I will get the ones in black 🤔
