Floral Shift Dress from Amazon

Hello Monday, you came quick! We had a busy weekend and yesterday after church we headed to Covington, Ky. We stayed at the Hotel Covington.

We went to see Amy Grant last night at the Cincinnati Music Hall. Before the show, we ate at a place called Prime in downtown Cincinnati. It was delicious!

I snapped a picture (sorry it’s blurry) of the outfit I wore to church. The leopard skirt is from Social Threads and is still available.

Floral Shift Dress from AmazonA few weeks ago, I shared my Amazon Prime Wardrobe with you, and this floral shift dress was one of my favorite pieces. It’s perfect now with boots, but when the weather warms up, I think these shoes would look cute with this dress. It’s also crazy comfortable!

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and, Instagram.

Beauty For The Heart~~“Expect to encounter adversity in your life, remembering that you live in a deeply fallen world.”

Adversity is a part of our life, but that adversity is not wasted when it draws us closer to Jesus.

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4

Have a blessed day!

  1. That leopard print skirt is really cute, I like the flared design. I have a pair of black leather booties with a heel, I think they would be great with that skirt. Just might have to get that one!

  2. You two look great together and so glad you
enjoyed seeing Amy Grant, I love her voice
and when she sings it’s so calming!!
    Have a blessed evening!!

  3. I live in Cincinnati and stayed at hotel covington this past fall for my niece’s wedding. It is a beautiful hotel. Very elegant. Glad you had a good time here. I love reading your posts everyday.

  4. Just had to tell you- my son lives in Covington Kentucky! I LOVE THAT HOTEL!! He went to UK and now lives in the cute town of Covington!!
We are planning a trip there in April😊

  5. You look stunning; simple yet conservatively sexy dress! Thank you for the BFTH, I forwarded a snap of it to both my kids for a little reminder.

  6. Gorgeous! What a great time together! Do you have a link for a similar boot? I read the comment of the Target but can’t locate the boot. TYIA 🙂

  7. Love your blog and love your style! I was wondering how you toned up and went down to a 4 or have you always been a 4. I have only just realized how thin you are and you look very healthy and fit. I need to tone up and lose about 20 lbs. I was your size before babies but I noticed in years past you had a little more weight on. Did you exercise or run or just watch your carb intake? Thanks for sharing our world, faith and style with us!

  8. Not sure if I’m the only one having this problem, but can’t pin your outfit pics to Pinterest. Love this dress, so adorable! You and Wayne make such a cute couple!

  9. Your scripture verse touched my heart deeply this morning. Often times we get so caught up in the constant adversities that seem all too frequent in our lives, I know I do. I read this verse several times and I felt peace, as I know He is “making me perfect” in His time. Bless you for sharing this when I needed it so!

  10. The alternative boots you gave for these (less expensive) from Target are my favorite boots. I get compliments every time I wear them. They look just like the ones you have on. Great photo of the two of you (sometimes it nice to have a photo when dressed up.)

  11. The two of you look so nice! I hope that the concert was everything you expected it to be. I hope your drive home is one without any issues. God bless!

    1. I am teaching It’s Not Supposed To Be This Way by Lysa Terkuerst at the moment so that’s part of my devotional and I use the Proverbs 31 App. We also have a Sunday School book that I use.

  12. Loved that you styled this dress with boots. I have a similar dress and didn’t know what to do with my legs. I’m short and I still think booties with a dress make me look even shorter. Thanks

  13. I’m so glad you had a great time and finally got to see your concert. I went to order the dress but it’s unavailable right now so I’ll keep checking or find something similar. I have shoes exactly like the ones you suggested too 😉. Have a great rest of your day away. Safe travels.
    Blessings
    Karen

  14. Oh how nice that you all got to go enjoy the concert after all you’ve been through and I remember when you had to give up you other tickets. The dress looks so beautiful on you and although I never wear dresses anymore I would order just because (I think I did that once before). I love that you all took a date night pic together 💕
