Well, here we are, 26 Days of Spring Fashion! Jo-Lynne Shane and I will be styling a spring outfit every day in March (except Sundays). Let the fun begin!
Of course, it feels like winter here today but let’s not think about that. Let’s think of buttercups, warm weather, puffy white clouds, and sunny days.
Today I’ve got a pretty floral blouse from LOFT, and it’s the perfect transition blouse if I do say so myself. I love the colors! Since the weather is still chilly this time of year, I like to have some long sleeve blouses to wear.
I styled this floral blouse with some high waist flare jeans. Oh my, these jeans are so comfortable. I like the way they’re snug around the legs and then flare out at the bottom. I also think the price is reasonable.
These Halogen sandals are going to be one of my favorite dressier sandals.
It was a smidge cold, and it showed in this picture. Haha!
Spring makes me want to add all the white I can to my outfits. This hobo handbag is from Sole Society, and I’m carrying the linen color. It also comes in blush and camel.
Such pretty sleeve detail on this blouse!
I’m loving all the spring jewelry. I purchased my acrylic earrings from Target. The brand is SUGARFIX by BaubleBar, but they aren’t online yet.
Another trend I’m seeing a lot this spring are rings, and anything heart shaped. My ring is from Baublebar.
It’s now warm yet, but at least I’ll be ready when it gets here!

I got some jeans very similar to those, but at half the price, from Glamour Farms, I love them! Do you do anything with Glamour Farms anymore? I haven’t seen you mention them in a long time, they have some really cute things.

Love the outfit! My questions are about the jeans. Did you keep them and did you find they stretched out while wearing them? Never bought that brand before so I’m unfamiliar.
I did no think they stretched. I really like the jeans and I did keep them.
I think it’s fun to see flares again. I wear mine similarly to the way you have styled yours. However, I’m wondering about when I need to wear a spirit shirt. (I’m a teacher.) I know it’s probably a narrow few, but how would you style flared jeans with a team/spirit shirt?

A beautiful outfit and such a pretty blouse. I’m not a fan of flared jeans very 70’s but you sure rock them 😉. Plus I’m only 5’3.. I’d be interested as to which jacket or coat you’d pair with this? It will be awhile before we go without coats.

I love this outfit–the rich print of the blouse, the lighter accent with the handbag and earrings, and I love the look of the flare jeans. You know, I have a love/hate thing with flares/bootcuts. I love the way they look, but I kind of hate that they need higher heels to look that way. So, to me, they are useful only as “going out” jeans, not going to run errands, etc. I guess I need to go out more!
I like flare jeans, but at 5’2” I feel they are not as flattering as skinny or straight leg on me. Any thoughts on this? Or is it just my imagination? It is difficult pulling off some styles when I am short.
I agree Angie! At 5’3” I’m afraid those flare jeans would wear me rather than vice versa. I just don’t wear higher heels that much anymore and am still a fan of skinny, ankle jeans.
The whole outfit is very pretty CYndi! I’m loving the jeans and hoping to see more of a fitted jean with tapered or flared legs in the future. I laughed at your comeback on the snakeskin fears and thank you for warning us ahead of time when it will appear! You look great, but personally I’m a boot cut girl. Flares are too wide for me, they feel like curtains puddling on the floor. Caught the snake attack post late last night and was really surprised at how many ladies nixed the print. I really like it. Am on the hunt for a purse and summer sandals in snake, reptile or crocodile/alligator print.

LOVE love love this outfit! I personally think this style and/or bootcut jeans are much more flattering on a woman’s body. Don’t get me wrong, I like straight leg jeans, but I’m not a fan of the true skinny style. This is perfect for transitioning weather and I can actually see wearing this to work on a Friday. and the blouse is so pretty and feminine!!!
