Happy hump day ladies! We are on day 4 of our cruise to the Southern Caribbean, and today we have finally reached our first island, St. Thomas. I’m ready to step on land!
Today on the blog, I have another floral blouse, and I paired it with white jeans. White jeans are a spring/summer staple for me. If you want to try a trendier pair of white jeans this spring, I love these raw hem white jeans from Social Threads.
This floral blouse is a part of the Gibson X Hi Sugarplum resort collection. It’s perfect for a warm spring or summer day, and it’s also perfect for travel because it’s a polyester/spandex mix, so it doesn’t wrinkle.
My straw handbag is from Amazon, and it’s got a tropical feel, but it will be cute to carry all summer.
I purchased this Panama hat a few years ago, but this one is very similar.
If you need a sandal with some support these are not for you, but if you don’t have finicky feet, these Steve Madden sandals are a great sandal, and they come in several different colors.
I mentioned several weeks ago that hearts are popular right now so if you want to update an outfit you already have in your closet, add a trendy accessory like these heart earrings from Madewell.

The yellow top is so bright and cheerful. I really like the pattern design and how it has the v neck with the long tie in the back. Funny story about St. Thomas. Back in 1999 my mother and I almost missed the boat because we lost track of time and our watches were not set to St. Thomas time.

Love the whole outfit. What bra do you wear with it? The floral top cuts in racer back and the underarms seem low. You look great and enjoy your trip. I saw on the news about a cruise ship who rescued some people. Was wondering if it was yours, but if so, sure you would have mentioned it today.

Yes!!!!! I’d love to know too. I have a tummy, but love the look of the front tuck and would love to give it a try!!!

I love this outfit. How did you pack your hat for travel?
I put my hat upside down in my suitcase and then I put some clothes in it to help keeps its shape. It travels well that way.

I have a fit question for you on jeans. I see that you wear a variety of sizes. How do you know what size to buy if ordering online? Do you stick to certain brands you have a history of wearing?
I typically know what size I wear in the brands I wear. I am usually a 27 or 28. LOFT runs big so I wear a 27. If they’re boyfriend jeans I usually size down 2 sizes.

Oh I love st. thomas. We went there for our honeymoon. It brings back so many happy memories. enjoy. go to “megan’s bay” it’s a beautiful beach!!!Oh and I love that yellow top, I am buying it!!
