Happy first day of spring! Today I’m sharing an outfit I would wear to a spring coffee date with a friend. I love coffee dates with my girlfriends. I’m always game for a cup of coffee and if you add a friend even better!
This soft-hued striped cardigan is perfect for a cool spring day. While I’m ready for warm weather, we still have a lot of chilly weather in spring. That’s why I love a lightweight cardigan.
I recently purchased this Madewell white tee. It’s v-neck, and it’s a soft cotton. I get asked if it’s white tees are see-through, and I never know exactly how to answer. If you wear a black bra, yes you’ll see it, but as long as you have a nude bra on, you’re fine.
I love wearing white this time of year, and so I’m wearing my white jeans with a comfy pair of Sorel sandals.
The colors in this cardigan are so pretty. I think this striped cardigan is a good option for spring! You can also pair it with denim and a pair of slip-on sneakers for a more casual look.

I LOVE THOSE SANDALS!!! I purchase them from Amazon after seeing this blog and they arrived today! I hope the front stretches a bit as my feet are a bit wide but they are gorgeous and comfortable!

The outfit is so fresh and pretty. (on you) for one reason or another, i would have something on the front of the shirt or the pants pre front door.
We have had some fantistic rainy weather here n so calif and after all the decades i have lived here i have never seen the poppies blooking do beautifully. they make the hillsides look like God dropped a large packet of seeds on the top and the rain washed them down the sides of the hills. truly wow !!

Love it! Question though. The sleeve length looks good on you. But I always and I mean always have problems with long sleeves being too long. I guess I have freakishly short arms or something. 😤 So I usually buy petite just for the sleeve length. All that to say … do you have issues with long sleeves being too long? If so it looks like this one is ok?

PERFECT outfit! Love this! It reminds me of the one you styled a couple of years ago, it was a white tee, white jeans and a blue waterfall cardigan – and I bought that one too. Every time I wear it I think of you, and I get lots of compliments. On my way to get this sweater now ;).

I really like this outfit – lets me know it’s finally spring. Reminds me of the beautiful blossoms on the Bradford pear trees that are blooming here in Dallas. Your mom was a very wise woman – thank you for the BFTH. Recently I was brokenhearted for someone near to me and I felt like there wasn’t anything I could do to help, Then I remembered – there is something I can do. I can be a prayer warrior – it changes your life and those around you.

Beautiful outfit Cyndi – love the colors. I love the sandals as well, they look super comfortable! I just bought a similar cardigan, but with mint green, navy and grey. It has made a great transition piece to my wardrobe 🙂 Spring like conditions here today in Calgary, but with that comes the melt and mess – so I might save the white jeans for a later date Haahaa

I probably would wear dark jeans when going out for coffee, though. I’d be afraid I would spill my coffee on white ones. It’s happened to me before.
