EVEREVE Girl’s Night Out

Happy hump day friends!! The weeks go by so fast. I know I say that all the time, but I can’t believe it’s going to be May next week!! Crazy!

Last night I had a Girl’s Night Out at EVEREVE, and we had so much fun. I’m a huge fan of EVEREVE and their Trendsend Box service. I especially love the ladies at our local EVEREVE. They are such a big help.

This is a great place to shop if you are looking for a specific outfit for an event like a Highschool or College reunion, a conference, a vacation, etc.

I have several conferences coming up this fall, and I don’t think I’ve mentioned this, but I’m speaking at a Chick-fil-A Women In Business Retreat in Georgia. How fun will that be?? Anyway, this is the place I will shop for outfits for these events.

Beauty For The Heart~~I saw this 7 Rules of Life and thought they were right. I added the scriptures that reminded me of each statement.

  • Make peace with your past so it won’t disturb your future.

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. Phil. 3:13

  • What other people think of you is none of your business.

It is dangerous to be concerned with what others think of you, but if you trust the Lord, you are safe. Proverbs 29:25

I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.   • Don’t compare your life to others; comparison is the thief of joy.

  • Stop thinking so much. It’s alright not to know all the answers.

  1. Looks like such a fun evening! The clothes at Everett are really fun, if sometimes too young for me, and the size of the store is so much more pleasant than a big department store. Also, I’ve found the sales associates to be extremely helpful in my neck of the woods as you have in Lexington.

    Another great BFTH. Thank you for that! I have a chronic illness and you are so right about comparing your life to others’ being a joy stealer!!! Thanks for all the scriptural reminders

  6. I love Evereve even though they can be pricey and on the “young” side. It’s a grea place to go when you have a special occasion coming up. I also have found some cute things on sale or on the clearance rack.
    I love the outfit you wore to the event!!

  8. I read recently about your hair extensions. I am considering them, and I have some questions if you don’t mind answering them. Do you still have them? Are they glued, clipped or sewn in? Are they individual pieces or like a curtain? Human hair or synthetic? How often do you have to get them maintained? I know these are a lot of questions, but I really like the way yours look and I’d like to have a successful experience with them. Thanks so much!

  11. I tried to sign up for the Trensend, but unfortunately they don’t accept debit cards (even though it has the VISA logo and can be used like a credit.) We don’t use credit cards…Guess I’ll stick with Stitch Fix and Trunk Club. LOVE LOVE LOVE Beauty for the heart today. God bless you sweet sister.

    So wanted to come last night, but I didn’t get away from school until late. I have not shopped at Evereve before. I wandered in one day, but I would have loved to have you guide me through some of their pieces. Please post if you plan on doing another event there. I’m thinking of giving up my StitchFix box.
