5 Ways to Wear A Sleeveless Chambray Blouse

Happy Friday, ladies! This past week, I shared some clothes from Old Navy with you; while I was there, I picked up a sleeveless chambray blouse because I knew I could wear it all spring and summer.

Here are 5 Ways to Wear a Sleeveless Chambray Blouse: (I am re-doing this room, and this is not the way it will look, so bear with me for the next month!)

First up, the obvious way to wear this blouse is with white jeans; you can’t go wrong with this look!

Next, I styled this chambray blouse with black shorts from Target.

This chambray blouse can easily be dressed up with these pixie pants and a heel.

These utility shorts are so comfortable, and I’ll wear them all summer.

Lastly, I can’t style chambray without some camo!

Beauty For the Heart~~

I recently read this quote by the late Rich Mullins about going to church.

“I never understood why going to church made you a hypocrite, because nobody goes to church because they’re perfect. If you’ve got it all together, you don’t need to go. You can go jogging with all the other perfect people on Sunday morning.

Every time you go to church, you are confessing again to yourself, to your family, to the people you pass on the way there, to the people who will greet you there, that you don’t have it all together. And that you need their support. You need their direction. You need some accountability; you need some help.”

We should go to church, not to be seen, not because it’s the right thing to do (we are free from the law), but because we are sinners saved by grace, and we don’t have it all together. We need each other!

Have a blessed day!

  1. Love your style. Wanted yo know how do you like your hair long? Wanting to grow mine out to wear up but I am 58. How do you wear yours up? Is it cut in layers because I like volume.

  2. I love the quote. That helps me with a response when I’m told that the church is full of hypocrites.

  3. The number one way to wear a chambray top is with khakis. I love the way they look so good together.

  4. Just an unrelated comment. I pinned a photo of your hair in 2015 and everytime I turn on my computer, I get a notification that it has been pinned by someone. So…..I get a photo of you every morning.

  5. Glad you mentioned the Fashion Tape. It’s a must have for me. Helps with so many issues. I feel more comfortable and secure knowing my tops are held in place and there are no accidental peep shows.

  6. So cute…. I’m a ruffle gal myself 🙂 I’ll be checking out Target and those shows next week when we visit the USA … enjoy your weekend. I can’t wait until we open our pool.
    Appreciate your BFTH.

  7. Such cute ideas!!! I’m long waisted, so I’m struggling with these shorter style shirts, and tucking in isn’t an option for me right now. :(. Any suggestions you may have for us tall ladies would be so appreciated!!
As always, you look so adorable in every style!!! Thank you!!

    1. Ha, I’m 5’3″ and short waisted so anything that doesn’t come in a petite is usually too long on me. I think Cyndi is proportioned just right for clothes, height, torso to leg ratio, etc. But we can’t hate her because she’s beautiful 😉

Good luck finding clothes for your tall frame and have a good weekend!

  8. What a darling chambray top!!!! I love chambrays and denims! Cute cute cute the way you styled them!!!!

  9. Thanks for the great ideas. Question: the sandals you’re wearing with the black shorts….they only come in whole sizes….I wear and 8.5. Would you suggest sizing up or sizing down?

Have so much fun with the grands!

  10. Love a cam ray shirt and don*t have one for summer. Will need to get to Old Navy to grab this one.
Enjoy your time with grand babies.

  11. Love your Beauty from the Heart mini devotionals at the end of your posts. Of course, I love you fashion sense too! Thank you for sharing your fashion ideas as well as from your heart.

  12. Love all these looks – wish we had Target here in Canada, they have such great stuff! I was laughing about your comment with your office – we all love you and all the work you put into your blog – your office transformation just shows you “keeping it real” for the readers! 🙂 Have a great weekend with your grandkids.

    1. I wish we had a Target too. Too bad they closed the ones we had. Heading to the USA next week and I’ll be making my stops at Target:)

      1. Super cute top. Love all the ways you styled it.
Always appreciate BFTH and Gods word. Thank you for letting your light shine!

  13. Great post- no need to apologize about the room!! Lol! Love all 5 of these! Awesome quote by Rich Mullins! I just read that too this week- SUCH Truth!!!

    Enjoy the grands!!

  14. Love a good chambray shirt – and all the ways to wear this one are great!! I’m going to check out that “tape” too, because I hate wearing a cami when it’s hot but with lower cut tops I often feel like I need to, especially at work I always feel like anyone walking up to talk at my desk can see straight down my shirt 🙂 – and it makes me uncomfortable. Have a great weekend!!

  15. Love this top.
    Thank you for showing clothes
From stores like Old Navy and such.
I am retired, live my clothes but truly
Do not want to spend a lot of money on them. My tastes change frequently and what I like this year may be different next year.
