Casual Weekend Wear with Old Navy

Happy Monday! We had a busy weekend around here, but the weather was gorgeous. I feel like summer has finally arrived, and I am ready for it.

On Saturday, we ran some errands, and I wore this striped top from Old Navy and my light wash jeans. This is one of the tops I shared a few weeks ago when I did the Old Navy try on session.

Casual Weekend WearThe weather was hot on Saturday, and this striped top was perfect for running errands.

Did you do anything fun this weekend?

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and, Instagram.

Beauty for the Heart~~I woke up this morning to the most beautiful moon shining in our home. We have large windows in our living room, and to see the early morning sky was breathtaking.

I’m always amazed at the beauty of God’s creation; I never tire of enjoying it. Today as you go through your day look for His beauty in nature. Praise Him for all the beauty he created for us to enjoy.

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Psalm 19:1

Have a blessed day!

  1. Love all these very pretty and cute out fits. We have a vaca to the beach coming soon. Is it best to have a mani and pedi ? and what is the best nail color to choose that will match with most out fits that you prefer? You look so amazing in all your outfits!

  2. HI Cyndi, I am a new follower and have enjoyed your blog very much. Today I saw a midi striped skirt from Nordstrom on your instagram story. I went back a few hours later to look at possibly ordering it and I can’t find it anywhere. If you know which skirt I am talking about could you please share the link again?
    Thanks!

  3. Hi Cindi I just wanted to tell you how much I love your blog. I love all your tips, and I’ve purchased quite a few of your outfits! I especially love the Steve Madden shoes your wearing in the dressing room, so I just purchased, I wore them to church yesterday and received many compliments. Many Blessings 🌸

  4. Cindy. I enjoy your blog and posts very much. Regarding Memorial Day as the kickoff to Summer. That is true, but it has a different meaning to many people including myself and I feel that too many of us forget or don’t even know what it is really about. Memorial Day is the day that we honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our great country. It is a day to be respected and to teach others that “ they gave their tomorrows for our today’s.”

    1. Cyndi,
Regardless of if you thank service members in uniform, it just seems appropriate to me that you would simply offer words of comfort to a mama who has lost her child while defending our country instead of just defending your own words.

  5. I love the tops and the price too. Stripes are everywhere. One of the wonderful things about being a grandmother is that you do point out the marvelous beauty of our world to our grandbabies as we take them on walks. And I too have looked at the moon glow and the sunshine as it comes through my windows and feel so blessed. Oh just a little side note – hubby and I went out to breakfast after church yesterday and I was wearing one of your suggestion outfits. A lady stopped me and gave me a compliment and said she too had pink jeans and now she know how to wear them! haha

  6. Still enjoying your blog. I too am always blessed by the handiwork of our awesome God. Blessings for a great week.

  7. I bought the split neck blouse in navy polka-dot so….cute! Really need to try their jeans but…that would mean I actually had to go try them on and I haven’t had time…..but it’s on my to do list! 😉

  8. I have this top but it fits me so funny? It shows my bra strap really badly but only on one side? I do have a large chest so perhaps I should have sized up? Buy I can’t keep the shoulders up so sizing up I don’t think would work? Bummed because I love the look of this top! Going to try to wear it with a strapless bra before I give up on it!

  9. I love the outfit and definitely a casual one I’d wear. I just wish it would start to warm up. It was a busy weekend around here as our daughter gets married next weekend so there’s been lots to do. I love the verse from psalm.
Have a great day and enjoy your little grand baby
