Hey friends! I had a little problem with the back end of my blog yesterday, so I didn’t get this post out. Thankfully, this colorful maxi dress is still on sale, and I think all the techy stuff has been fixed. Whew!
One of my favorite things about summer is all the beautiful colors. Everywhere you look, flowers are blooming, and the grass is green. I also love adding color to my wardrobe! After a cold and dark winter, there’s nothing better than clothes full of vibrant colors.
This Allison Joy Maxi dress is definitely full of color, and while it’s perfect to wear here in Kentucky, I also think this maxi dress would be a great addition to pack on your next vacation.
The dress has narrow straps at the top, so I did wear a strapless bra.
I kept my jewelry simple and added a pretty pair of fringe earrings from LOFT.

In reference to the undergarments every woman should have, I cannot find a pair of the footies like you posted that will stay on my feet while walking in my shoes or boots. I’ve tried the type with the rubbery strips on the heel, the hosiery type and a multitude of others. They all roll off my heels before I can leave my house. Any suggestions?

So pretty on you. I love to see bright colors on others, but when I buy something too bright in floral, I feel like I can’t really wear it too often, as I don’t like to stick out. On vacation would be great. You are always just the right height for the maxi’s. At 5’3″ they don’t usually work for me. Looking forward to your summer series. I’d like to see more casual dresses to replace shorts for this summer. They are more comfortable and I just feel better in them.

I love that dress on you! The yellow accents a tan. My complexion is very different than yours…blonde and fair, but I feel like these colors would be flattering on me , too.

Beautiful! They should use your picture on their website, as you make the dress look way better than the model! I love dresses in the summer and as I work full time I love the one and done speed at which I can get dressed in the morning. I am really loving the shirt dresses right now.
