Summer Floral Pants from LOFT

Happy Saturday! Believe it or not, it’s Day 19 of 25 Days of Summer Fashion. The days are going by too fast! Today, I’m veering away from dresses and shorts, and styling a pair of floral pants from LOFT. I love comfy pants in the summer, and these have a drawstring waist and side pockets. They also come in petite and plus size.

Summer Floral Pants from LOFTI styled the pants with a white tee from Loft.

I am loving all the flat sandals this summer, and these sandals are Soludos brand from Nordstrom. I did find a similar pair at Target that are a less expensive option.

Summer Floral Pants from LOFTI styled these pants with two different tops. This one can be worn on or off the shoulder, but unfortunately, it sold out. I had just purchased it!

Beauty For the Heart~~Satan loves to take what’s beautiful and ruin it. God loves to take what’s ruined and make it beautiful. (@getthroughtheweek)

He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies. To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes.  Isaiah 61:1-3

Have a blessed day!

  1. Love the pants and just bought some very similar and was wondering what top to wear with them. I ended up buying a cropped linen solid colored top because I knew it either had to be shorter or tucked into the pants.

  2. Such a cute outfit.. I love the pants with either top but the first is my favorite. I shop at the loft and loft outlet and quality for me has never been a problem; However ordering on line in Canada doesn’t happen because of the high shipping costs and returns… also banana Republic and j crew are just as nice. I sometimes find the loft clothes look old too.. just my thoughts depending on the stock at the time..

  3. I so agree with you about the quality of Loft clothes! Wash once and they’re done….so bad. Also, if I wear something from Loft I see myself coming and going all over town….

  4. Recently I washed two brand new, never worn, shirts from Loft and they came out of the wash with holes… I wash everything before wearing first time in cold gentle and hang dry. So I’ve been very disappointed with quality. Also agree fit is often weird, tight in shoulders and boxy through body. And even on “sale” as another reader commented, the prices aren’t that great especially compared to, for instance, J Crew Factory, who’s quality is consistent. Having said this I still buy from Loft because of the wide array of options for the workplace and I do score wins on some pieces. I find their return policy accommodating which makes it easy to try on and return.

    1. I bought a nice striped tee from Loft. I was excited to wear because it was cute, colorful, and could be worn in many ways. Washed it once, and it also came out of the delicate cycle with holes. I’ve found that “softer” tops are too often lacking in quality as they are made from cheaper fabric, and then sold at the same premium. I hear friends talking about how they like a given top b/c it’s “softer”! I prefer quality, I hardly ever find an item of clothing that I can’t wear because it isn’t “soft” enough! Loft, please don’t sacrifice quality!

  5. Most of my clothes are from Loft or Ann Taylor because they carry petites, but I agree with the quality comment. Their cotton shirts get holes in them after a few washings and it’s getting worse. This spring I bought a cute green and white stripe top and after washing it twice, it has 2 small holes at the bottom where the shirt means the pants. I also wash on delicate or hand wash and hang dry my clothes.

  6. I like the pants, and LOVE the earrings. I agree about Loft. Everything looks really gorgeous, but the fit seems off a lot, and some of the fabrics seem flimsy. And honestly, I really hate it when stores play the game of overpricing everything and then the customers know to wait for the 40 or 50% off sales that roll around every week or two. That, alone, tells you that the $50 item is really only a $25 item, and $25 clothes are generally lesser quality. In fact, if it’s really only a $25 item, I’d rather pay less than that!

  7. I have similar pants from Loft but they are the cropped flare leg and I absolutely love them. I have actually a different feeling about Loft and have bought quite a bit there this spring. I have found some duds there too, but honestly I think that’s the case anywhere I shop. I like the different shirts you’ve shown. Very cute!

    1. I agree about the quality of Loft clothing. They come out with great clothing pieces but after one wash, & hang dry they have to be tossed due to shrinkage. Quality is very poor
