Black Tank and Olive Skirt

Welcome ladies to Day 21 of 25 Days of Summer Fashion! I’ve styled quite a few dresses this summer, but today I’m styling an olive skirt. This skirt can be worn lots of different ways for summer, a white tee, a graphic tee, stripes, etc., but I styled it with a black tank.

Black Tank and Olive SkirtI realized about a month ago, I didn’t have any black sandals. I typically wear nude or tan color sandals, but every once in a while, I like a black sandal. I purchased these at EVEREVE, and I think they’re a cute addition to my summer sandals.

Black Tank and Olive SkirtThe skirt is a linen blend, and I would say it runs a little big so if you’re in between sizes, order down one size. The skirt comes in several different colors, and it also comes in plus size.

Black Tank and Olive SkirtThis tank has a v-neck in the back and the front.

Black Tank and Olive SkirtBlack Tank and Olive SkirtI have already worn this outfit several times this summer! It’s a great option if you don’t want to wear shorts.

Beauty For the Heart~~God is not sometimes sovereign. He is not occasionally victorious. He does not occupy the throne one day and vacate it the next. This season in which you find yourself may puzzle you, but it does not bewilder God. He can and will use it for His purpose. -Max Lucado

The LORD will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. Jeremiah 30:24 (NIV)

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cyndi, I have a skort that looks almost like this. It’s perfect for summer when you don’t want to wear shorts! I style mine with lots of different tops because I consider olive a neutral. You look great!

  2. Very cute, but wouldn’t the linen and rayon combo wrinkle terrible? I think your new fireplace is going to be great. Thanks for sharing the before and after pictures. Not sure why the builder would have done the first fireplace under the stairs and so small, unless trying to save cost. I think with your high ceilings, the one you decided to put in is very appropriate. It will fill in and make the room look more cozy.

  3. Wow! I’m wondering also why the builder
put a small fireplace tucked under your
stairs! Very odd. The new fireplace is
going to look so fabulous Cindi!
Thank you for always doing a fabulous
post on clothing. I look forward to it every day.
I also enjoy your scriptures every day!

  4. That whole outfit looks great on you! I think the black sandals help make it too! Thanks for the inspiration! And that fireplace is going to look beautiful when it is finished. You do have to wonder about the decision to put the fireplace under the stairs?! Anyway, I guess someone wanted it there for some reason! Have a great day!

  5. Cute outfit and a nice change from shorts.. I like the black and olive combo. I can’t wait to see the finished wall that will look stunning and a great way to fill in a large room. That’s a high ceiling.! I can just see a massive tall Christmas tree in there😉oops did I just bring up Christmas lol…
    Have a great day
    Blessings

  6. Wow, Cyndi! Double score—really cute outfit, and the awesome stone fireplace! DEFINITELY the right decision!

  7. Love the black & olive together.

Thanks for the Beauty for the heart today. It was just what I needed. I have been put on bedrest for 6 weeks as I broke an “odd” bone in my hip. This spoke to me so clearly as I find His purpose in all this.

    Have a great day

  8. Very cute! I would even wear this to work on a Friday, likely with a denim jacket. I love dresses and skirts this time of year – easy and comfy!
