Cheetah Print Dress: Wear Now and Later

Yay, it’s Friday! We’ve made it to the weekend, and I’m thrilled that we don’t have any big plans. I always welcome a weekend at home, relaxing and enjoying time with my family.

Today I’ve got a cheetah print dress that you can wear now and later when the weather turns cold. It’s easy to style a sleeveless sheath dress for cooler weather by adding a sweater.

First up, I’m wearing styling this dress for a hot summer day.

My Vince Camuto wedge sandals have been a staple for me this summer whether I wear them dresses or shorts. They’re a great summer wedge!

I kept my jewelry simple with tassel earrings a couple of gold bracelets.

Next, when the weather turns cold, I can add a simple black crew neck sweater to the dress.

I styled it with my Vince Camuto open toe booties. These are from last year, but this pair is similar, and it’s this year’s style. This outfit would also look good with knee-high black boots.

I’m also wearing bracelets from Social Threads. I love these bracelets!

When we were in Charleston, I purchased my earrings at the Market. The store is on Etsy, but they don’t have this exact pair. I’m going to email her and see if she has more available (I also purchased this bracelet).

This will be a great option for fall!

  1. Thanks for being such an inspiration to me. I’m almost 56 years old and I’d gotten into a rut with everything. especially my looks. You’ve inspired me to lose weight, grow my hair out and dress sharper. Keep on encouraging!

  2. I am normally not a fan of animal prints but I love this cheetah print dress I think cause it might be sheath style I love that style and then to wear it two ways score. love the verse for today.

  3. So cleaver putting a sweater over the dress to wear into fall. This is why I follow you. You make me think outside the box. Love the BFTH today.

  4. What a great way to wear this dress on in to the cooler months! It looks great with and without the pullover sweater. And you look so very pretty! Great BFTH! Enjoy your weekend!

  5. Great Now and Later, Cyndi. Both looks very cute! I’m seeing animal prints everywhere, and I already have several pieces, but am going to add more!

  6. Great idea! I am loving this segment. Now that we are in Chattanooga (for only a year) these are so helpful. It will be cool here soon, but nothing like the fall and winters in Indiana. So thankful to hear that you are getting involved in ministry again.

  7. I’ve been seeing more animal print so far this season. Picked up a few pieces yesterday in fact. This dress is so cute and again I wouldn’t have thought it was old navy or to have added a pullover sweater to a dress. Smart:) have a great weekend 😀
    Blessings ❤️

  8. I have been following your blog for awhile. I LOVE it! I really like the dress and I really appreciate you modeling clothes for now and later. We live in the south and it is HOT, but will, cool down in a few months.
