Let’s Get Ready for Some Football!

Happy Friday! This week has flown by! I feel like I blinked my eye on Monday and now here we are, and it’s Friday.

I don’t know about you, but I love some football. My nephew plays at the high school level, so we are heading to some high school football games.

This is his senior year, so I didn’t want to invest in a bunch of their school gear, but I did want to dress for the occasion.

I purchased some football tees from Amazon that will be perfect for football games this time of year when the weather is still warm.

First up I’m styling this gray Love Football Tee. You can wear it with jeans, but I thought it would be fun to wear it with some camo jeans. The tee runs TTS, but if you’re in-between sizes, I would size up.

I recently purchased these Good American camo jeans, and they are a splurge (although I did get 20% off). I have been wearing LOFT camo pants for several years, and I like them, but they fade.

The Good American camo jeans are high waisted with a lot of support in the waist area. I will wear these now and all through fall and winter.

Next up, I’m styling a Game Day tee with jeans and a pair of Adidas sneakers. This tee runs TTS, is soft and a little roomier if you like your tees oversized.

I’ve shared these American Eagle jeans before, but under $30, and they are one of my favorite pair of jeans. They don’t stretch out, and they don’t shrink when you wash them.

These Adidas sneakers are super comfortable and come in a ton of colors. I’m wearing the Light Granite/Silver Metallic/Grey color. I ordered 1/2 size up in these sneakers.

We don’t have to bring clear handbags to the high school games. But, if you’re headed to a college game and you need to bring a clear plastic bag, Amazon has some cute handbags.

Bring on the football! I’m ready!

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and, Instagram.

Beauty for the Heart~~If Eve wasn’t content in the garden, what makes me think I will be content if only my circumstances were different?

Contentment doesn’t come from perfect circumstances but from fixing our eyes on Jesus and what’s eternal, not on what’s temporary. -missionalwomen.com

And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. (Hebrews 12:1b-2a NLT)

Have a blessed day!

  1. Love all the game tees. Just a reminder to all (or maybe new info) put a cup of white vinegar in the first wash of anything primarily cotton and your item will not fade in the future. It truly works! So don’t use this tip for anthing that you want to fade.
    Love the camo pants Cyndi!

  2. Super cute game day outfit! I finally ordered the jeans and wanted to order the t-shirt too, but amazon was sold out. Any other suggestions for replacement?
    Thanks so much,
    Tracey W.

  3. Glad to hear Tracy and crew are coming for a visit. Really have enjoyed their Friday series Notes From Home. I, too, get motivated to decorate when guests are anticipated. This is a cute post on football tees, more Cyndi more! On the Adidas tennis shoes, I always go a 1/2 size down not up and I buy lots of Adidas. Are these made differently? Have a safe and wonderful weekend!

  4. PS I’m glad your sister and family are coming to visit you. I wondered how that has been going. You’ve lived close for so long and it has to be hard. So cute about your nephew so emotional with Wayne. He must really miss you two.

  5. So good to see someone else is ready for football. We live in the NW and a few hrs. from Seattle, so we are Seattle Seahawk fans. I love watching them play. Its alittle too early for me to decorate for Fall, I usually wait until mid to end of Sept. but this morning I could feel the cool, crips air and dampness outside and it feels like Fall. But…..they say its going to be in the 90’s next week. Oh my. I love the football tee’s you are styling. So fun. I also like the camo pants. I am having trouble with the high waisted jeans, as they tend to have too much room in the crotch areas for me….too long waisted I guess I’d say. Do you find that? I did order the crop American Eagle jeans you styled a few days ago and excited to try that new style. I’d order the ones you styled today, but I really don’t like alot of whispering on my jeans. Glad to hear they don’t stretch out, hope the same for the crop style.

  6. Oh my goodness, we are certainly sports fans in my family!! I probably have 15 different T-shirts and jerseys, and for winter sports, about that many sweatshirts and hoodies. I like the game-day shirt you styled. I’m still having trouble seeing camo as a neutral, and kinda only wear it with green, beige, or brown. GO TEAM!!

  7. I’ve seen you post several times that you love these jeans so decided to try them while on sale. Cute t-shirt post.

  8. Love this post! My son is in grade 11 and will be starting high school football training next week. We don’t start school here until after the labour day weekend. Both my boys played since they were younger and I love watching them play. I made sure that the jackets I wear are the school colors (It’s pretty cold up here when football starts in Canada), but I definitely want to get some of those tees. Have fun at the game. 🙂 From afootball mom.

  9. Cute T’s and perfect for the season! A question about your Game Day T – are you wearing the dark gray (featured on the link)? It looks more blue in your photos.

  10. Love graphic t’s and these are cute. Will you be styling some perhaps from amazon that aren’t football? Just curious:)
Blessings and happy weekend. Its another busy one. Hard to believe we are nearing the end of another month🤷‍♀️.. please slow down lol
    Blessings ❤️

  11. Cute shirts! We love college football 🏈
BFTH, so true! Have a fun weekend! I’m visiting my family. We are 6 hours apart! Loving on my grandsons, and surprising my other daughter tomorrow at her birthday party 🥳🎂🎈

  12. Such cute tee’s and I like that they’re generic – as in not team specific. I LOVE football – especially college football! I’m ready!
I wondered if you were missing Traci – I know that y’all are close, and I’ve been wondering how that move has effected everyone. It’s hard to be away from friends and family especially after you’ve spent your entire life in close proximity. Thank goodness for modern technology like Facetime!

  13. What cute shirts! I love that you do so much with your family! My sisters and I are also close and I would be lost without them! Have fun this weekend!
