My 5 Favorite Beautycounter Products

Happy Thursday, friends! I knew this week was going to fly by since Monday was a holiday, but I feel like I blinked my eye and it’s almost Friday. Wow!

Today I’m sharing my 5 favorite Beautycounter products with you. So many times, I’m asked about my skincare, and I also get asked if you could only order one product from Beautycounter, what would it be? Read the whole post, and I answer that question!

Beautycounter’s mission is to get safer products into the hands of everyone. Beautycounter bans 1,500 potentially harmful ingredients that while making sure that they perform as well as other luxury products. They share every ingredient on their product packaging and online.

I’m trying to use cleaner and safer products. I don’t use all clean products, and I am still learning, but Beautycounter has helped. Here are my 5 favorite Beautycounter products:

1. Counter+ Charcoal Facial Mask

Ten minutes to a purified complexion: So much of how good our skin is going to look is done before we ever put makeup on. This facial mask is amazing! I use it 2 to 3 times a week to deep-clean. It absorbs excess oil and draws out impurities. Activated charcoal minimizes the appearance of pores, giving skin a smooth, refined appearance, while salicylic acid stimulates exfoliation.

2. Countertime Tripeptide Radiance Serum

I use this serum before my Countertime cream. This transformative rejuvenating treatment visibly increases skin firmness and elasticity, while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I love the way it feels on my skin.

3. Countertime Antioxidant Soft Cream

This cream goes on right before I put my makeup on. It works to visibly plump and firm the skin while boosting hydration to protect skin from drying environmental stressors throughout the day.

4. Countertime Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream

I use this every night. It feels amazing and helps firm skin and minimize wrinkles.

5. Counter + Overnight Resurfacing Peel

If you only order one product, this peel would be it. You put it on before you head to bed, and it helps to bring your dull skin back to life and gives you that awesome glow. You will feel this peel when you put it on! I use this 3 to 4 times a week. (I let it dry around 5 minutes, and then I put the supreme cream on my face.)

  1. Thank you for these, Cyndi! Will definitely give them a try! Ps… do you use/recommend Botox or Dysport at all? Thank you and I love your blog!!

  2. I haven’t tried microneedling yet – waiting to hear what you thought. I have tried some BeautyCounter products, and liked them all – body wash, day and night moisturizer, lip moisturizer, Dew Skin, serum and on your recommendation, the overnight resurfacing peel – wow, LOVE it and see difference in my skin after two weeks applications, 3 x week. My budget doesn’t always allow for cont’d purchase, but that product is a MUST! Thank you, and God bless you for all you do!

  3. I’ve tried micro needling and I dont think it really made much difference. I prefer micro derma infusion and peels. just my experience.

  4. I did the laser version of micro needling last year, three seasons and it really worked. It took 4 days for the redness to go away, but I could see a difference each time. I will do one every fall to refresh!

  5. I’ll be watching for your experience and results from the microneedling! I’ve been wanting to do it, but keep procrastinating. I really want to try some BeautyCounter products too, so thank you for this list of products to try! Thank you for all you do for us! God bless!

  6. Cyndi, I have had 3 microneedling procedures, all were with light therapy(not vampire facial), one month apart. It did help the overall appearance of my skin, especially hyperpigmentation on my upper lip. It is not that uncomfortable (they put numbing cream on beforehand). The most tender area for me was around the nose and mouth area. I am interested in Beautycounter products, but I cannot find a consultant in my area. I called the company and a oerson in my area reached out, but never contacted me again. Any suggestions?

  7. I had mine done (skin pen)! It was fabulous! I have super reactive skin and I was beet red for the rest of the day. They gave me some cream to apply afterwards and it didn’t cool the burning so I was in Sephora and got Caudalie Grape water mist. Go get you some!!! It’s cooling and feels so good!!!! Actual procedure was not bad at all because my face was numbed with cream. The only time I felt a little discomfort was the eyebrow area. Pain scale a level 1 for a split second. Otherwise not bad at all! I cannot tell you how good my skin looked after the 3 treatments! By the next day redness was gone. Don’t worry one bit!

  8. I’m so glad you posted about microneedeling. I am so interested in it and think it’s a great “safe” option for our skin. I have done it twice and the numbing cream helps and it’s not too painful at all. I have been told you start to see real results after the 4th time. I’m going to see it through and hopefully will reduce the fine lines an tighten it as well Good luck! Please share your experience. Would love to hear what you think!

  9. Morning friend! I had a micro pin apt that I had to cancel because I haven’t had 24 hours to stay home and recover afterwards ( no make up 😜) but my gal said it doesn’t hurt! Let us know how it goes. I need to reschedule soon.

  10. Thank you for this post. I’ve started to use BeautyCounter products but was confused about what to use and when. This will help me going forward.

  11. Hi Cyndi,
I’ve had microneedling done…and where I went they put numbing cream on your face first. It really doesn’t hurt! (The only place that I found a bit sensitive was on my nose.)
The hardest part for me was not being able to wear any makeup for the next 48 hours. 😳. Yes, clearly, I’m vain!

    Enjoy! Xoxo

  12. I tried microneedling on my upper lip due to horrible hyperpigmentation. 🙁 Still fighting it. Anyway, I had a horrible experience and feel like it left my upper lip even worse. I read all about it before trying it but sadly it didn’t work out for me. Good luck and hope that your experience will be so much better than mine. As a matter of fact, started the R&F treatment this morning after being on the Skinceuticals treatment for over a year with minimal results.

  13. Cindy, I have had 3 treatments of microneedling just earlier this year. The procedure is uncomfortable in some areas and painful in others depending on the thickness of your skin. Overall I did not see much benefit to the treatments and would not do it again. Laser treatments and Botox are what has worked for me.

  14. Hey Cyndi.

I ordered the ‘overnight resurfacing peel’ OMGoodness, I LOVE it!! I can see a BIG difference in my skin. I will be ordering more of their products soon.

Thank you for all your do for us!

    Have a fabulous day!

    Kathy

  15. I have had microneedling, and the only uncomfortable part was on my forehead. The doctor explained that was because the skin there is thinner than other parts of the face.

  16. I’ve had Microneedling treatments in the past…Its not bad. I’ve got bad acne scars from my younger years and thought this would help. Where the skin is thinner, they are more gentle. Don’t worry….they will take good care of you!. I still have scars so i”m scheduled for Laser very soon.

  17. VERY interested to here about the microneedling procedure because I want to do it too – just been a bit busy and can’t find time to work it in. The results I see people have with it are amazing! I’m not uber sensitive to pain, so bring it :), esp. if the results are good.
The Beautycounter overnight peel is one I like, of the products I’ve tried. My only complaint about Beautycounter is I think their shipping is a bit high especially when other companies offer free shipping once you reach a certain dollar amount.
    BFTH is spot on!

  18. Cyndi,

Barbara and I started using Beauty Counter because it was the only clean make-up with great products. My 5 favorites are: 1. the cleansing balm is amazing and last forever. 2. Touchup skin concealer pen 3. Dew skin tinted moisturizer 4. Suncreen spray 5. Volumizing Mascara. Barbara loves the body wash, me too. So good to be using chemical-free or low chemical products.

  19. All I can say is that I’m glad it’s you & not me! Ha! I get to live out vicariously through you in the things that I can’t (or won’t) do! Can’t wait to hear how it goes!! Seriously, you do allow us to experience things along with you & I thoroughly enjoy the ride! God bless!

  20. I sure like today’s Beauty for the Heart, because my ability to mess things up is legend!!

Your skin is looking great, so you must be doing something right. Love you!
