What To Wear To A Fall Wedding

Happy Monday, ladies! If you didn’t get a chance to read yesterday’s post, you might want to read it and more importantly, all the comments. I’m always amazed that so many of us struggle with the same things. Thank you for your honesty, and let’s remember who God says we are.

Today I’m sharing What to Wear to a Fall Wedding. Since we had a wedding this weekend, I thought I would share what I wore. Fall is now the most popular season for weddings, likely due to the gorgeous, colors and the comfortably cool weather although we had an unseasonably warm weekend for September.

The wedding was outside, and I wanted to wear something that looked fall-ish, but since it was warm, I knew a long sleeve dress wasn’t an option. I found this dress at my favorite store, EVEREVE.

The colors are gorgeous! The dress is comfortable, and it was perfect for an outdoor wedding.

I added some mustard color fringe earrings that matched the mustard color in the dress. I love the high neckline on the dress, and also the dress is lined to the thigh area.

I’m carrying a Vera Bradley handbag that is several years old. I did find one on eBay.

Of course, I wore a nude heel. I didn’t want to cut off my leg since the dress was a maxi dress. The nude heel helped to elongate my legs.

If you have a fall wedding, a cruise, or any event that you need a dress, this is a great option!

Beauty For the Heart~~Matthew 5:14-16 says, Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

God gets the glory NOT when we strive to be perfect, but when we rely upon His strength and trust in Him.

Let His light shine today!

  1. Hi Cyndi,

I purchased this dress because you just look gorgeous in it! I plan to wear it to a benefit dinner next month. Do you think it would be appropriate to wear tall boots with it?

    Thanks!

  2. I ordered this dress and it is beautiful! I ordered the xs size because I usually wear the same size as you but I exchanged it for the small. The xs fit but seemed tight across the bust.

  3. Pretty! I also have good luck with VICI and they have a discount code for dresses today — DRESS30.
Love me some Evereve, but I have to ration my purchases lol!

  4. Such a beautiful dress on you! I am right with you on Evereve. I love all their clothes but not their prices! It’s a great place to go when I need an outfit for an occasion too.

  5. Beautiful, as always! I also wanted to tell you my husband and I were in St. Louis this weekend and I was able to go to an Evereve store at The Galleria there. Not only were the clorhes super cute, the store was absolute eye candy! I was in love with the way it was decorated!! Thanks for sharing your love of that store. Have a great week.

  6. Beautiful dress. I have a January and February wedding next year so in a few months I’d love to see a winter dress! thx!

  7. What would you throw on in case you got chilly? A blazer? A sweater? A moto jacket? I’m always at a loss as to what to add to a sleeveless fancy dress?

  8. Beautiful as always, Cyndi! Thanks so much for your blog and your words of wisdom. It always amazes me how your Beauty For The Heart seems to send the right message at the right time for whatever life is throwing my way.

  9. Cyndi, you recently posted that you were going in for microneedling. I am considering that in the next couple of weeks and am anxious to hear about your experience. Would you please give us your thoughts? I realize you have your posts scheduled out and you may have one planned to cover this but a brief overview would be helpful. I’m debating making my appointment!. Can you see any results? Have a great day!
