Hey there! This past weekend we took our grandkids to the pumpkin patch. We had the best day! The weather was chilly but not cold, and the sun was shining.
We let them run around and do what they wanted because that is how Pops and Cici roll. What happens with us stays with us (well unless Colt decides to tell on us! Haha!).
I shared some pictures on Instastories, and several women asked about my outfit, so I thought I would share it with you today.
I love wearing a hat when we’re going to be outside, and I purchased this hat from Amazon. It comes in lots of different colors, but I’m wearing the x-camel color.
When you’re headed to the pumpkin patch, a hat is a great option, especially on a windy day.
My sweater is from Target, and it’s a cozy fall sweater. I have already worn it several times and even washed it, and it held up fine.
Here are some pictures we snapped at the pumpkin patch. These two are thick as thieves! I don’t stand a chance with Colt when Pops is around.
Now this one is Cici’s girl! (I was wearing my crossbody bag from Social Threads that I shared here.)
This is my graceful self trying to grab Claire before she goes too far out on the bouncy thing. I was afraid a big kid would pounce on her. Of course, Colt is always protecting her.
I love spending time with these two! They make life fun!
Beauty For the Heart~~My Mom was such an amazing grandmother. My kids adored her! She counted it pure joy to be Nana to 9 grandchildren! She now has 10 since Sania Louise joined our family (my sister’s daughter that they adopted from Latvia).
I wish she could see Colt and Claire. I often think of all she did with my kids, and I want to be like her. I want Colt and Claire to know Jesus loves them, and he is faithful even when life doesn’t always seem fair.
And life won’t always be fair or easy. Life can be hard. I can’t protect them from everything, but I can share with them the One who loves them more than anything.
And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. Ephesians 3:18
Have a blessed day!
