Let’s Get Ready for the Holidays!

Hi ladies! Believe it or not, it’s time to start thinking about the holidays. It’s the time of year when we get to add some glam and sparkle to our outfits.

Whether it’s a gorgeous pair of heels, some blingy earrings, or sequins, this is the time of year to wear it!

Today I’m sharing a couple of pieces from the Gibson X Hi Sugarplum Holiday Collection. There are lots of pieces to choose from, and they come in petite, regular and plus sizes.

First up, a velvet blazer is the perfect piece to add to your holiday outfits. If you’re wearing a sleeveless blouse, this piece will help keep you warm while looking stylish.

The blazer is fully lined with a silky satin.

I added these studded heels from Sole Society to both my outfits. I love these heels for the holidays; they’re a knock off of the Valentino heel.

Next up, I’m styling a red velvet v-neck tank. I did a front tuck with this tank, but I think it would look better tucked in all the way or left out.

  1. I really like the Gibson holiday collection and those shoes you have are so pretty. Great for the holidays

  2. Beautiful looks… I find most if our gatherings are at people’s homes and jeans and a nice top rule the room lol.. I wouldn’t mind seeing some more casual holiday tops/ options.
    Blessings

  3. Love these holiday looks!! I don’t love that time is going so fast I can’t keep up
LOL plus that means the sni, ice rain, blizzards and windy days are around the corner 😉 I unfortunately can’t wear a high heel shoe more than 1 1/2 inches, so I don’t get the same look.

    Have a blessed day!
    Love, Cindy

  4. Oh Wow! I love the Sugarplum Holiday Collection! There are several items I would like to purchase. Do you have a coupon code, or do you know how often items go on sale?

Thank you so much for all your posts! I just love reading your emails everyday!

    1. Hi Shelli, in my experience with the hisugarplum collections in the past, most items sell out before they have a chance to go on sale. This collection is so beautiful, one thing I wanted is already sold out except for one size!

    1. You look stunning! I see your daily e-mails and i love how you take care of yourself and always enjoy your inspiring words and philosophy. Have a great day:)

  5. I can’t believe it’s that time of year again! Maybe it is not the same in your area, but I have found that there are fewer and fewer REALLY dress-up parties anymore, even during the holidays! Dark jeans, heels, and a sparkly top are about as dressed up as it gets, unless you go to a gala of some sort. Kinda sad, really.
Anyway, I love your outfits. The heels are something extra!

  6. Love the velvet! It looks so good:-). My question is about heels – would you wear nude heels through the winter, or stick with black heels? I usually wear black tights with dresses. Love the heels you are wearing, but will need something lower for myself.
