A Heart of Thankfulness

Happy Sunday, ladies! Well, it’s been a busy weekend, but yesterday I was beyond blessed to speak to a group of ladies about fashion and faith.

I can’t put into words what it means to me that women showed up to hear me talk about the latest trends and also about where true beauty is found. I am speechless and in tears this morning thinking about each of their sweet faces.

Some women traveled from out of state. Again, I’m speechless. Meeting women who are a part of this community is the very best part of my job.

I took pictures with several women, but some of them took them on their phones, and I didn’t get the pictures. Here are a few that my daughter snapped for me.

A Heart of Thankfulness A Heart of Thankfulness

These two ladies flew in from Missouri, and we were able to have dinner together last night. I loved hearing about their families and their jobs. As my Mom would say, “It was a blessing.”

A Heart of Thankfulness

If you had told me 10 years ago when I started this blog, that it would be my full-time job and I would be speaking and traveling, I would have quit immediately! Haha!

I’m so thankful God sees the whole picture and we just have to follow where He leads. Of course, it’s not always an easy path but He’s always faithful.

Romans 12:2 says, Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Let’s be different. Let’s follow Jesus no matter where He leads.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.
