Plaid Heels-Holiday Style

Happy Tuesday, ladies! I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for the holidays. Well, I’m not ready as far as purchasing all my gifts and decorating, but I’m ready to get started.

This time of year we have lots of holiday parties and family get-togethers, so it’s time to start thinking about what we want to wear.

You can’t go wrong with a red blouse and black pants, but what I’m most excited about are these cute plaid heels I recently purchased.

I definitely have a shoe crush on these, and I can wear these so many different ways over the next couple of months.

I’m also adding my round crossbody bag from Kohl’s.

One of my favorite details on a blouse are the sleeves, and this red blouse has smocked sleeves. It also has a high neckline.

This holiday season add some fun to a simple red blouse and black pants with these plaid heels. (My black pants are from JCPenney and they run big. I sized down but I still think they’re slightly big so I’ve ordered the next size down. I’m hoping they will work because these pants are super comfortable.

Beauty For the Heart~~“Let me learn by paradox that the way down is the way up,

that to be low is to be high,

that the broken heart is the healed heart,

that the contrite spirit is the rejoicing spirit,

that the repenting soul is the victorious soul,

that to have nothing is to possess all,

that to bear the cross is to wear the crown,

that to give is to receive,

that the valley is the place of vision.” Arthur Bennett

Have a blessed day!

  1. Love all your posts. I am a huge fan of Loft and love when you post items from there. I am also a big fan of Maurices. Do you have this store in Kentucky? Their jeans are the best! Maybe you can give them a try. If you do, let me know what you think. Blessings!!

  2. You look fabulous. Those plaid heels
really top off the outfit!! Maybe Jo-Lynne would like a pair. Ha ha, I asked her where her red shoes were and she said she
    didn’t own a pair! Shocking. 😳😀
I follow her blog, your blog just and
recently Deborah’s blog. Your girls are
going to have fun in Nashville this weekend.
Thanks so much for all you do.

  3. Ooh those plaid heals are too beautiful for words! You look absolutely amazing! As always! Plaid pumps will however be wonderful – as my environment doesn’t lean itself towards heals.
Going searching for plaid pumps! Enjoy Nashville

  4. I love plaid, and these shoes are so cute! The heels are too high for me, though. If you come across any plaid pumps in the 1.5-2 inch height I’d love if you could share it with us. Thanks!

  5. I just purchased a pair of plaid pumps and just love their versatility! With my Christmas Party coming up at the end of the month, I think investing in a red or green blouse will be perfect! Thanks for the inspiration 🙂

  6. I appreciate when you reference back to other clothing you have appeared in. Today referenced back to the green blouse. The ivory sweater you referenced in 3 different posts. it is so handy to see how a person can wear a piece of clothing in different ways. And yes, I bought the ivory swearer yesterday because of your posting it in different ways. Thank You1

  7. Love this holiday outfit! Trying to get to the link for the shoes pulls up some beautiful earrings. Will you fix this link as I am almost sure I am going to need these heels. Thanks Cyndi!

  8. The link for the plaid shoes takes you to Ice Block Drop earrings. Can you please change it so I can get the shoes? Thank you!
