Happy hump day, ladies! If you’re counting, Christmas is three weeks from today! We will blink our eyes, and Christmas will be here. Can we slow down these next three weeks, please?
Today I’m sharing a sweater I recently purchased mainly because I love the sleeves. Nordstrom calls them romantic Juliet sleeves, I just call them cute!
I decided to pair the sweater with a pair of flare jeans. These are not a wide flare, I think they’re almost a bootcut.
If I’m wearing a flare jean, I like to wear a shoe with a heel, preferably a pointed toe heel. These pointed-toe booties work perfectly. They come in snake print too, and they’re on sale for under $50.
This sweater comes in several colors, including black. I thought the green was festive for this time of year!

A few weeks ago, I shared this outfit, the sweater is sold out in red, but several of you mentioned that you really liked the plaid heel, but you can only wear flats.

Beauty for The Heart~~Yesterday was #givingtuesday. All-day I kept thinking about the ways we as a family give.
I thought about how I want to give more and more. I don’t want to be a person who clings tightly to stuff. Stuff is not important.
We believe that everything we have is God’s.
We also consider what scripture says in Luke 12:48, When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more, will be required.
This time of year is a wonderful time to give, but I want to give not only at Christmas but all through the year!
Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. Matthew 6:19-21

I bought this pair of jeans from the Buckle after this post. They are my absolute favorite jeans and I get so many compliments on them. I went back to buy more and apparently everyone else really likes them too as they’re almost sold out. Do you know if that brand carries any other styles in the same fit?

Question about sizing of the red dress you styled and wore for Thanksgiving, I normally wear your size but I don’t want the dress to ride above the breasts. Do you think a size small would still do this? Or would it provide some more room in that area?
I don’t think the small would do that but for me the small would be too big at the bottom.
I don’t think it was as noticeable in person as it was in some of my pictures.

The only time I’ve ever ordered anything green, is when you styled it. But I always got lots of compliments 😉
This outfit is just plain cute on you. Loved the way you styled the heels with it. I like some others, am unable to find the kitten heel plaid shoes. They only have the pumps with a 3 inch heel, and most sizes are gone already. I saw the mules, and I am just not a fan of them. I work in a busy office, so I feel like I would be struggling to keep them on my feet.

Gotta say – love the jeans! I personally think they are very flattering on all body types, and give more balance to a woman’s body – just my opinion. I also love all the sweaters but I just can’t wear a sweater – anywhere I go it seems the heat is blasting and I’m miserable – even at work – I’m very hot natured which makes dressing in the winter a challenge. It is disappointing because there are some really pretty sweaters I would love to wear – like this one, and the grey fair isle one you styled earlier.
BTW – I don’t see the flats you mentioned – not a link or picture, unless I missed it? I don’t typically wear flats but I’m always open to seeing cute shoes 🙂
