Target Sweater and Leopard Booties

Happy hump day! We had our women’s Christmas event last night at church. I co-lead the quarterly events team, so we had been working on this event for months! Everything was wonderful, but I literally woke up this morning, and my whole body is sore. Haha!

Today I’m sharing a Target sweater I recently purchased. It’s warm and cozy, and of course, I love the color. It also comes in several more colors and it’s on sale.

I styled it with my leopard booties. I wear these all the time!

Some of the reviews say the sweater is itchy, but I don’t think it’s itchy at all. It’s a great chunky sweater that’s warm for cold weather, and the red color is festive for the season.

Stylish and warm for cold weather!

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~Last night at our women’s event, I had prayed for women to connect and, hopefully, to make new friends. It’s easy with a church our size (we have over 3000 members) to get lost in the crowd.

My heart is for women to connect with each other and to know they are loved unconditionally by God.

After the event was over a lady came up to me and said she had come by herself and she had only been attending our church for a couple of months. She shared with me that she met a new friend. She had no idea I had been praying for that very thing.

I shared that I had been praying for her! Tears welled up in her eyes. I think she left feeling loved!

Jesus cares for the ONE. Each one!

“Look at it this way. If someone has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders off, doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine and go after the one? And if he finds it, doesn’t he make far more over it than over the ninety-nine who stay put? Your Father in heaven feels the same way. He doesn’t want to lose even one of these simple believers.” Matthew 8:12-14

If you wonder today if God loves you, let me assure you he does!!!

Have a blessed day!

  1. I love getting your daily emails and reading your posts each day. I’m sorry, but the link does not go to the sweater you are wearing in the picture. It’s similar, but not the same…eg mock neck vs turtleneck as well as the sleeves and body being different. Perhaps that’s why the discrepancy between the reviews and your experience with it.

    1. Libby thank you!! I fixed the link and you’re right. That’s why there was a discrepancy. I couldn’t figure it out. It’s not itchy. Haha!! Thank you!!

  2. Your blouse designs are beautiful, and I especially like the berry color. I had to pass because I’m a petite, but I congratulate you on all your hard work and creativity in following your dream.

  3. Such a pretty sweater. We have 3 functions this weekend to attend and I have lots of ideas thanks to you and Jo-Lynne. Thanks for introducing us to Susan. She looks lovely in your beautiful blouse. Enjoy your day.
    Blessings

  4. So pretty, as always. I’m going to pray you have a few days between now and Christmas to just relax and enjoy some quiet moments this season! I’m praying the same for myself. It’s so hard for us this time of year to “Be still!” God Bless!

  5. Love your outfit! I noticed you did not roll your jeans in this pic to be above your leopard booties. Is it okay to let our pants stack at the top of ankle boots now?? I have a hard time keeping up the trends. Thank you!
