Hi ladies! I love to dress up this time of year. It’s fun to add sparkle and lace to your holiday outfits. Today I’m sharing What to Wear New Year’s Eve if you’re attending a dressier event.

First up, I’m styling a puff sleeve top with a sequin skirt.

This skirt is lined and hits a little below my knee.

It does run a little big, so I would size down.

You can wear this sequin skirt with a holiday color blouse like red or green, or keep it simple with a black blouse and add this clutch.

Next, I’m wearing a gorgeous green dress with ruffled accents around the skirt. This dress is from Rachel Parcell at Nordstrom. She leans towards very feminine and conservative styles.

The dress is partially lined, and it has a high neckline and long sleeves.

My shoes are Schutz brand, and they are a transparent pump. I’m wearing a silver glitter color. They also come in black, silver, beige, and leopard print.

Whether it’s for New Year’s Eve or a winter wedding, this dress will be beautiful. It also comes in black. This clutch would look great with the dress.

Beauty For the Heart~~There is tinsel and holly and songs to be sung. There are bright lights and candies and bells to be rung.

There are shopping trips here and there and everywhere. And folks hiding things with no time to spare. There are cards to write and visits from friends.

And it seems cookie baking just never ends. But there’s one special time that I like the best. What is it? I’ll tell you if you haven’t yet guessed.

When all are in bed, I tiptoe back down. And pretend that I’m standing there in Bethlehem town. I look at the star in the creche, and I think. I’m there with the shepherds quick as a wink.

And I’m beside the manger of hay. The place where Christ Jesus, that sweet baby lay. It’s a very special time just between God and me. And I thank Him that Christmas will always be! ~Anonymus
