2019 Year in Review (Part 1)

Hi ladies! It’s hard to believe I’m writing my 2019 year in review post. The years are flying by!

After I wrote the post, I decided to divide it into part one and part two because it was getting too long.

It’s fun to look back, but my disclaimer is I’m sharing all the fun things we did in 2019. It really was a good year, but we had difficult days too.

No one gets through this life without some bumps and bruises. I certainly have had my fair share.

We started the year cleaning out my mother and father-in-laws home of 60+ years. They both passed away in 2018, so 2019 has been a year of getting used to life without them. That is never easy, and we miss them terribly!

Okay, here is a month by month look at our year and my most popular posts.

January, my most popular post was 5 Ways to Wear a Black Cardigan.

February was a pretty quiet month. My most popular post was 7 Spring Trends for 2019. I think I wore all of them except for the neon trend, I haven’t tried that one.

March was cold, and thankfully, we headed south! We took a 12-night cruise to the southern Caribbean islands, and we had an amazing trip. I’m ready to go again!

My most popular post for March was My Travel Day Outfit post.

We went to 7 different islands on our trip, and we loved every one of them.

April is always a good month in Kentucky, trees and flowers start to bloom! Our family celebrated Easter.

My most popular post was my Old Navy dressing room try-ons.

May, of course, is Mother’s Day, and we went to church and then had Sunday Dinner at our house.

My most popular post in May was 2 Trends for Summer You Won’t Want to Miss.

We also celebrated my daughter’s birthday with lunch at Epping’s here in Lexington. Somehow I didn’t get a picture with her, but I did get one with Claire.

June was 25 Days of Summer Fashion with Jo-Lynne. We have been doing these seasonal series for several years and decided after this one to stop doing them. Blogging has changed over the last few years, and it seemed a good time to transition to some different things.

This Fit and Flare Maxi Dress from Old Navy was my most popular post in June.

That’s January through June 2019, go HERE for Part Two.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Have a blessed day!

  5. Thanks for the recap and great to see some of your family pics and outfits but I use to be able to “pin” them and save them to review later but I can t seem to pin them anymore. Has something changed or maybe I’m just challenged?
