Well, as promised, here is my 2019 Year in Review part Two. It’s a doozy, so grab a cup of coffee, and let’s get started! In case you missed Part One, you can read it HERE.
July is a transition month in the blogging world, we start thinking about fall and winter, and things get busy. The big event for July is always the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Ironically that wasn’t my most popular post.
Staying Fit in my 50s and my Changing Style was the most popular.
We had a significant change in our family life in July. My sister and her family moved to Nashville. She only lived about 10 minutes from us, and I’m still not thrilled that they live in Nashville, but it is what it is.
Wayne and I also took an end of summer vacation and spent a week in Charleston. I love that city!
August is my birthday month and also my son’s birthday month. We celebrated together with dinner at my daughter’s home.
My 5 Wardrobe Essentials for Early Fall was my most popular post.
I also shared my new office in August.
And our family room makeover.
September is my husband’s birthday, and we had a cookout at our house.
My LOFT dressing room try-ons was my most popular post in September.
October began our busiest three months of the year! My Fall Picks from LOFT was my most popular post.
At the first of the month, we took a quick weekend trip to Pigeon Forge with our friends.
Wayne and I went to Austin, Texas, for a blogging conference, and we got to do some sightseeing in Austin.
At the end of the month, we had fun trick or treating with Colt and Claire.
November was the busiest month of the year for me! I wasn’t sure I would make it through this month!
My Amazon Haul was my most popular post.
I spoke at two different conferences about Fashion Trends and Inner Beauty. Of all the things I get to do with my job, meeting women who are a part of this community is my very favorite thing!
I spoke at the Peppermints and Pearls Event here in Lexington.
Then later in the month, I went to WinShape Retreat and spoke to some women who work at the Chick-Fil-A support center.
At the end of the month, I headed to Nashville for the Blissdom Conference and got to room with my sweet friend Jo-Lynne. We had such a great time catching up!!
Oh, and I can’t forget that I released two Cyndi Spivey blouses with Gibson look. That has been a dream of mine for several years, and it finally came to fruition!
The Cyndi Spivey Lace Mix Blouson Sleeve Top in Berry Red//Black Jean//Black Bootie//Earrings//Leopard Clutch (similar here)
December is always busy, and in the midst of blogging, decorating, shopping, etc., I helped plan a Christmas Women’s Event at our church.
My friend Amy (she’s beside me in the red blouse) and I are co-chairs of the quarterly events committee.
Our theme was The Gifts Within Us, and we were reminded that we each have gifts that God wants to use. I love these ladies (my daughter is on the committee too)!
My most popular post in November was my try-on haul at Old Navy and Target.
I was thankful to be able to send out Christmas cards this year with our whole family in the picture. It’s hard to get us all together, but we did it!
Here’s to 2020 ladies! I don’t know what the year holds, but I know who holds it.
Thank you for being a part of this community. I wouldn’t have the opportunity to do this job if it weren’t for you, and I’m so very grateful for each of you. Who knows maybe we will get to meet in-person in 2020!
Beauty For the Heart~~Most Sundays I write a devotion or something that I feel is tugging at my heart. I thought it would be appropriate here to share my top Sunday post for 2019.
Have a blessed day!
