Amazon Fashion-January 2020

Happy Monday, ladies! It was a whirlwind weekend for us. We had a wedding in Georgia on Saturday, so we drove down on Friday (6 hours) and then drove back late Saturday night.

Yesterday we went to church and spent some time with our family, so I’m starting the week feeling like I need a day off. Haha! And that’s not going to happen.

Today I’m sharing some Amazon fashion with you. I’ve got some great oversized sweaters and a few tops. It’s January, so I’m all about sweaters right now.

First up is this turtleneck pullover sweater. It’s a tunic style, and I’m wearing it with Amazon black jeans.

If you’re looking for a good pair of black jeans that are affordable, these jeans are a great option. The black jeans are high waisted and have just enough stretch to make them comfortable.

The sweater has batwing sleeves, and it hangs longer in the back.

Next, I’m wearing a High Neck Puff Long Sleeve Chiffon Blouse with the Amazon black jeans. The blouse comes in several different patterns, and it’s a nice workwear option.

I styled this sweater on Friday, it’s Cable Stitch brand, and it comes in several different colors. A cute oversized sweater for winter.

I love tops that have a twist knot in front. This one has lots of colors to choose from, and this leopard pattern looks like a peach color more than tan in the background, and I don’t wear peach. I would recommend a solid color.

I really like this color block sweater. I’m wearing the brown color, but it comes in several different color options.

This popcorn sweater is soft and comfy!

Last but not least, I have one sweater that’s a little more fitted. It’s lightweight and comes in a lot of patterns and colors. I did a front tuck, but you can wear it out if you like that better.

Do you like oversized sweaters or more fitted sweaters better?

  1. These sweaters are super cute, but I prefer less bulky and baggy sweaters. I feel they are more flattering on a smaller frame.

Thank you for all of your posts!
    Jackie

  2. Hey Cindy,
Do you mind sharing a picture of the dress you wore to the wedding this past weekend? I have a wedding to attend next weekend and was just curious.
    Thanks so much,
    Kathy

  3. I love to have a couple of bulky sweaters, but overall I still like a more lightweight option. I get a lot more wear out of the lighter weight ones and they’re more appealing looking too. I’m also trying to stay away from the tunic lengths at this point. Feel like I’m getting too many of them and find I’m not grabbing for them as much as I used to. When you are 5’2″ tall like me bulky and/or long sweaters can overwhelm a person.

  4. I really like all of the tops and the black jeans. Thank you for sharing brands off of Amazon that you like. God bless!

  5. Off the subject of the sweaters…I know all these wonderful women who signed up for your new Facebook friends but the amount of information received is overwhelming. I know you had no control of the amount of pictures and information submitted but goodness gracious. Help I am drowning!

  6. I really do like all these sweaters but the bulky ones this time of year when I’m constantly in a coat would not be comfortable.. I along with Kathy would like to know which ones you keep and question the quality?
Will be writing the verse from today on my journal:)
    Blessings
    Karen

  7. Do you keep these sweaters you buy from Amazon? I went to look at each one and what they are made of and I just don’t think they will hold up or look quality. I like when you style sweaters from Loft or Nordstrom, as then, even if you don’t keep them, I know I can trust they will wash up good and last and be quality. Could you do another Loft try on soon? 🙂 You look great in all these sweaters, but I’m petite(short) and so I think the small may be too oversized for me. Glad you made it home safe with you husband.

  8. I tend to feel hot more than cold so I like to have one or two thicker oversize sweaters on hand for those frigid days but mostly I prefer more lightweight, fitted sweaters that I can layer as needed.

  9. I love oversized sweaters although I live in Florida and don’t wear them often. My only issue is that I tend to buy oversized tops to hide the fact that I’m overweight. 2020 is a good time to address this problem.

  10. Hi, for some reason, I haven’t been receiving my daily emails from you. When I tried to resubscribe, it told me that I was already a subscriber. I don’t do social media, but really enjoy reading the daily blog. I have told friends about you when I get complimented on my clothes. I buy something almost every week that you have worn or recommended. Also, I appreciate the sharing of your Christian insight. How can I get the emails again?
    Thanks,
    Jennifer Scarbrough

    1. The same issue happened to me the emails were in my junk mail I just had to mark them not junk anymore and started receiving the emails again hope this helps have a great day

      1. The fitted blue and black leopard sweater…..its not at the link. Did I miss it? It goes to the tan and red heart sweater.

    2. I had the same issue the emails were in my junk mail I just had to mark not junk mail and now I started receiving the emails again hope this helps have a great day.

  11. Happy New Year! glad you’re home and getting back to a schedule – I’m in the same boat – first day back at work and it feels like I was gone a very long time – LOL.
Pretty sweaters – as far a weight, I prefer light weight, looser ones most of the time. The heat at work is typically not accommodating for wearing sweaters – TOO WARM – for my liking.
BTW – your hair is so shiny in these pictures? are you doing something new?

  12. I only wear fitted sweaters. Over-sized make me feel frumpy. You always tell what size you’re wearing but I’ve never seen you post your height and weight and possibly bra size. Those would be helpful to me. I’m 5’4” and weigh 117 lbs and wonder if going with the sizes you post would work for me.

  13. Thank you for this post. These are sweaters which are more affordable and look nice. I am looking for affordable, middle weight sweaters to wear with jeans.
