2 Valentine’s Day Outfits

Happy Tuesday, ladies! Valentine’s Day is a few weeks away, so I’m sharing 2 Valentine’s day outfits that are perfect for the upcoming holiday.

The hero piece to me in both these outfits is the black blazer. A black blazer is a basic wardrobe piece. This is a piece that I’m willing to spend a little more money on because I will wear it often and keep it season after season.

I purchased my blazer from Evereve. It has a tie-dyed piece that can be worn with it (it zips on and off), or you can wear it without the tie-dyed piece.

Believe it or not, a hoodie with a blazer is a trendy way to wear it. This blazer allows you to wear the look without the bulk.

For my outfits, I removed the tie-dyed piece. The blazer is so cute with side zipper pockets. It has a little stretch in it, and that makes it really comfortable.

Look #1 is a red blouse with a black blazer. (I’m styling these outfits with a pair of premium denim jeans. I purchase AG jeans when they’re on sale. They’re my favorite premium denim.)

It’s hard to see, but this Target blouse has large polka dots.

The blouse is slightly sheer, but if worn alone, I would add a cami under it.

Look # 2 is a more casual look with a heart shirt, black blazer, and sneakers.

I love a little bling, and this shirt has an embellished heart.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~

Where my soul is filled with sorrow, strengthen me with your words.
Where my heart seeks selfish gain, turn me toward your statutes.
When I’m afflicted and discouraged, fill me with hope and comfort in your promises.

Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart.
Open my eyes, that I may behold wonderful things out of your law.
Give me a love for your word. Make it my meditation all the day.
(Taken from selected verses from Psalm 119)

Have a blessed day!

  1. Thank you styling the blazer. This came just in time, I’ve had mine as a staple piece for awhile and now you’ve given me ideas for my valentine date night to the local dinner theatre as while as a new outfit to wear for errands around town.

  2. Hi Cyndi – I’m wondering if your extensions are woven in or is it a clip-in? If clip-in, where did you get it? It’s looks really natural and not overdone like some. Thanks.

  3. I LOVE both of these looks. I have a question about the blazer. Im assuming that you can take the liner out, correct?? and can the liner be worn separately?? Also, would the blazer without the liner be light enough for spring? I went to the website, but didn’t see that information.
Thanks for all you pour into our lives with the great style information, and especially the daily devotions!!! You are such a blessing!!!!

  4. Interesting that we are seeing more clothes for Valentine’s Day. I’ve noticed quite a few on other bloggers as well as on line stores. Love both these looks. I agree eating out the night after much more affordable so we shall see❤️

  5. So pretty Cyndi! That blazer is so unique with the tye dyed piece- I hope you will style the blazer with the zipped in piece for us soon!

  6. I love both tops. I’ll be wearing my red Cyndi Spivey blouse for Valentine’s Day dinner this year! It will still be cold, so I want to get a few more wears out of it this season.

  7. BFTH today is beautiful and such a wonderful reminder – Thank you!
I love both outfits and may get the sweatshirt as we are traveling on Valentine’s day and it may be a fun piece to wear. Your hair is beautiful by the way – I’m betting Mr. Spivey is liking it as I recall he liked the length the last time you had your extensions put in.
