Gibson International Women’s Day Collection At Nordstrom

Hi friends and happy Thursday! Today I want to share some pieces from the Gibson International Women’s Day collection at Nordstrom. I love this collection and all the variety.

They won’t be restocking these items, so if you see something you like, you might want to grab it. Also, all these pieces come in plus size and petite sizes too!

First, I’m styling this gorgeous halter dress. I love the colors and the fit, and it will be going with me on vacation.

You do have to wear a strapless bra with this dress. I’m wearing this strapless bra.

Next, I grabbed this black jumpsuit. It’s so soft and comfy, perfect for traveling, and cute enough to wear when you’re running errands.

Lastly, wide-leg pants are definitely going to be trending this spring and summer. I paired these pants with my puff sleeve blouse. This would make a great workwear outfit.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~One of my favorite women in the Bible is Rahab. Rahab has an amazing testimony of God’s grace over her life.

Rahab was a prostitute in Jericho. When two spies for the Israelites came to her house she kept them safe and let them stay overnight. When the King of Jericho ordered her to hand them over, she lied to him and said they had already left, but in reality, she had hidden them on her roof.

The king of Jericho would not have expected a prostitute to outwit him and protect the Israelite spies. Rahab did not have the most flattering professions, but she was wise enough to recognize that the God of the Israelites was the only God!

She feared God and became an unlikely friend to the men taking over her city. Her family was spared and she is listed in the genealogy of Christ. Proof that God can use anyone who surrenders to Him.

Rahab is referenced in Joshua 2, 6:22-25; Heb. 11:31; James 2:25; and in Matt. 1:5 alongside Ruth and Mary in the genealogy of Christ.

Have a blessed day!

  1. We’re cruising now and everything has been great! They are spraying us down with sanitizer at every doorway 😂 but it’s nice to not hear the scary news stories. No one in the islands seems worried. What a relief!

  2. I need to get packing for a trip to South Padre Island, TX next week and in April we have a cruise too! I am a little nervous about it and was hoping things would simmer down a bit by then but I don’t think that’s likely. I’m a bit of a germ-a-phobe anyway and will have to be extra vigilant! Seeing your post today gets me excited about sunny and warmer weather! We’ve had nothing but rain. Enjoy your trip! Where are you cruising to?

  3. Thank you for the fashion and inspiration through the Bible. I learned something, thank you!

  4. Rehab is a favorite of mine! If you haven’t, you should read The Lineage of Grace by Francine Rivers. It’s about Rahab, Tamar, Ruth, Bathsheba and of course Mary.

  5. I also love the story of Rahab and your line “Proof that God can use anyone who surrenders to Him” is one we should all keep in mind, as it applies to all of us.
    Have a wonderful trip!

  6. Does Gibson ever restock? I had my eyes on the black and white clip for shirts. I hesitated for about 30 minutes… Went back and they’re sold out! This happened with the red midi skirt you styled about a month ago as well. So frustrating!

  7. Enjoy your cruise! We just returned from ours and while the CO-VID-19 virus was on everyone’s mind – it was fine, really! The Princess cruise we were one were VERY thorough in communicating everything. Anytime we were in port they set up hand washing stations to use before boarding the ship. they also communicated using the rest room in your stateroom rather than the public ones on ship. I think common sense goes a long way and as usual the news media has spun this into a frenzy. Go have fun!!!!
Oh, and that dress is beautiful!

  8. We also have a cruise planned soon and are just planning to use common sense and keep our hands clean and watch what we touch!!! I think the media is going a little to far in scaring us. The cruise lines would be cancelling if they thought there was a danger. Hope you have a great time!!

  9. As always the outfits are cute and trendy. I really like hose transparent shoes which are in right now too. Enjoy the planning and taking of your cruise. Common sense and cleanliness are key to controlling this new virus threat. The media has a bad habit of creating chaos where there isn’t any.
PLEASE mention again the sunless tanner you use. I want to get it before our cruise and would like to give you the credit. Thanks.

  10. Hi Cindy- love the flowered dress today. So pretty for spring. I have a question, you mentioned you leave for a cruise, we are going March 15-21. Are you nervous with all thats happening in the news with the virus and that? Was just curious.
Thank you so much for all your uplifting scriptures, I look forward to reading them everyday! You are such an inspiration!! 🙂
