Spring Outfit From Talbots

I have been compensated by Talbots and ShopStyle for this post, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Happy Monday! I’m excited today to share a spring outfit from Talbots. Nothing says spring like pink, so I’m styling these light pink straight leg crop pants.

Spring Outfit From Talbots

These pants have a wide straight leg, and they’re made of cotton, polyester, and spandex. They do run big, so I suggest ordering down at least one size.

This gorgeous coin charm necklace is a great statement piece for any outfit, and I’m wearing a pair of pearl hoops earrings.

This block heel sandal has a 2 3/4″ heel with memory foam, and they come in several different colors. They run TTS, they’re comfortable, and I’m wearing the rattan color.

Lastly, I kept my look classic with a polka dot shirt. If in between sizes order down one size.

  1. I love this outfit! Please feature more outfits from Talbots. I find their clothes are very classy, classic and quality for the price.

  2. I love this outfit today – so classic and yet modern. I do not know what SNS nails are. I have some kind of nails that require a longg time soaking in the remover and the nail tech has to scrape it all off. I don’t know what they are called and have no idea what I am going to do to get them off. In the wide world scheme of things not a big issue – but is sure annoying. Vanity and hindsight are 20/20, but I wish I had them removed 2 weeks ago. Have a safe day everyone.

  3. Hi Cyndi……it may take a few weeks for your nails to show natural look. But give it time and they will soon look good again. I used to get my nails done years ago…..once I had them removed, my nails looked terrible. It will take some time.

Love the pink pants and necklace.

    Blessings

  4. Cyndi, could you please send the link to the gold necklace with the pearl on it that you’ve styled. I tried to click on the link in the blog of you styling the colored jeans, striped tank and jean jacket and it doesn’t go to a pearl necklace. You didn’t give the link in the picture of you wearing it with the white t shirt and the chain link necklace. I’m looking into buying both necklaces. Thanks. If anyone else knows where this link is please send it. Thanks.

  5. Thanks for continuing to provide info on fashion. I check in daily because it brings a sense of normalcy to the upside down times we’re living through right now. And your fashion style is impeccable!

  6. I love this outfit on you, but at 5’4” I think this would make me look short and stocky. Maybe if I wore the pants with heels it might work. I see that’s even what you did being 5’6”.

My husband and I went for a drive on Saturday and it was so good to get out of the house. We also FaceTimed with friends and family to stay connected.

We enjoyed a great sermon online from our church which spoke about faith in God during these times.

  7. I love those Talbot wide leg pants. They are not too wide, seem to be just a bit wide than a classic cropped trouser. I do think a different shoe would be better as having the cropped pant and an ankle strap shoe cuts off the leg twice!

  8. I love this outfit and I’m not usually a fan f Talbots. I love the cropped wide leg pants! How often do you apply self tanner? Do take the tanner off completely before apply new tanner?

  9. Love your style!!! Just wanted to let you know there is a company that sells nail polish in sheets..Color Street. You can find out more information at Perfectly Polished Gems on Facebook. Good luck and God Bless 💕

  10. I think this outfit is very cute, love the styling of the button-down and the necklace! But am I the only one who thinks it needs a cute belt to complete the look? Maybe one with rattan or a contrasting color?? Keep up the good work, Cyndi!

  11. Such a springy look… oh I can’t wait for warmer weather and days to get dressed up and go out.. it’s still a ways away but a girl can dream:)

  12. Thank you for staying in track with bringing us fashion and faith to keep our minds off of this craziness surrounding us

  13. Hi Cyndi,
Thanks for the nail polish info, ordering mine today!
Since Hair Salons are closed indefinitely ☹️, what will you do to cover the grey. I too use a #5-#6 hair dye color combo. I bought some touch up spray but that
won’t work in the long run. Are you going to try a box dye at home? If so which one, what color? I don’t have my hairdressers personal phone number to get her professional opinion, so I’d greatly appreciate yours! XOXO

    1. My hair salon is mixing up our color for root touch ups and we can pick up on Fridays.
We text when we get there and they will come out and put it in the back of our car or trunk.

  14. Cute spring outfit and I just place my first order from Talbots last week when Jo-Lynne styled that leopard sweater. I also ordered some pearl earrings I can’t wait to get them. Unfortunately, doesn’t look like I will be able to wear them until this is over. Working from home and already responded to all my emails so going to start my kickboxing workout video. Enjoy your day and stay safe.

  15. Your outfit is cute and Springy. You look good in everything and this outfit is no exception!
Ive tried the wide legged cropped pants and I don’t think they are flattering on me. Not every trend works for everybody and that’s OK. I’ve got several items arriving from Talbots in the next few days. I only buy from them when they’re having a good sale.

  16. I do like Talbots! Thanks for showcasing some of their items and reminding us of the sale!! Take care!! I look forward to your posts each day! Thank you!

    1. Love this outfit on you. I love polka dot anything and those pink pants are soooo cute on you. You can wear any style and it looks great. I wish I could pull those style pants off but I’m only 5’3” and they never hit crop on me. Years ago I bought a more narrow crop leg pinkish pant you styled and I still wear them. Now you need a place to go to wear this outfit huh? You are right….. it’s about the little things. Saturday my husband and I took a 3 hour drive in the county and down by the coast (NWOregon) and took our sack lunch. We never left the car but it got us out of the house. Now it’s back to the new normal Monday. I have to say it was tough waking up today. My mind was racing. My husband took off to work…. Fire Chief and here I am. I don’t work anymore so no working from home even. I have a few more cupboards to clean out. Anyway, I have to go straight to my devotions to get my head straight…. positive attitude. This is the day the Lord hath made. I WILL rejoice and be glad in it. 🥰Blessings and thanks for your blog to help start our days.

    1. Cyndi you are a daily inspiration. The top is lovely as well as versatile. Those pants are not your best choice for flattering your nice figure. I do appreciate your willingness to bring such a vast collection of fashion.
      Stay well..

  17. Morning!
Cyndi you can make any outfit look great! This style pant will be a pass for me. I’m to short to pull it off. I’m not sure this for the long run. Stay well!

  18. Hello,
Thanks for continuing to encourage your readers and help us to think about something other than “the virus”. Your outfit looks quite springy! I know you are taller than me. I am 5’2″ and sometimes feel pants that are “crop” length do not look the best on me. Maybe they are hitting my leg in the wrong place. Do you have any advice about that? Thank you and stay safe and healthy. I do not know how people will get through these times without leaning on our Heavenly Father!

    1. Hmmm…I actually really like the wide leg styles! Particularly for pear shaped and hourglass women (like me) I think they balance out the hips beautifully. As long as the waist is defined, I find them much more flattering than skinny jeans…in fact, bootcut silhouettes never left my closet, trendy or not! Love this look on you, Cyndi! 😊

  19. I stopped acrylic and gel when I discovered Perfect Formula. First saw it on QVC then found it on Amazon. My nails haven’t been this strong or grow so fast my whole life. Highly recommend it!

  20. I like Talbot’s for less trendy, more classic items that are well made.
You always look cute, Cyndi, but these wide-legged, cropped pants are an example of a style that I don’t think is flattering on most women. My feeling is that they make a person look “wider” and shorten the legs.
    That’s just me, though…🤷‍♀️

    1. I agree with you 100%. I do not feel cropped wide legged pants are a great look on most women or are flattering on most women. Just a lucky few!
I shop Talbots for the classics as well. Have been for forty years. They do not do “trends” or “style of the moment” well though imho.
On another note…..has the long version of the makeup tutorial been done and posted yet? If it has I have missed it. If not, I would love to see it. I so enjoyed the quickie version posted some time back. Makeup is one area I need all the help I can find. LOL!
      Peace, comfort, and love ❤️🙏🏻🤗

  21. Very cute and so spring-y looking! Talbots clothes are a bit more expensive but the quality is very good. I try to get closet staples when they have a sale.
