Happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend. Of course, there’s not much going on around here since we have to stay home, but at least I had some cute loungewear to wear.
Today I’m sharing some cozy pieces from JCPenney that will make you want to stay inside. It won’t surprise you that I’m wearing pink. I can’t get enough of it lately.

I have two outfits that are both cozy and comfy! First up, I have a pink top and tie-dye shorts with some of the softest slippers.
I love wearing this outfit around the house, especially now that I’m not going anywhere most days.
These pink slippers are perfect for spring and summer, and I love the pink color.
This is a great “around the house” outfit. I could sleep in the shorts with a tee or tank, but I can’t do long sleeves when I sleep.

Next up, I have more cozy loungewear with a short sleeve tee and gray crop joggers.
The tee is a little longer in the back, so you can easily do a front tuck.
If it’s chilly, this black hooded cardigan will keep you warm. It’s lightweight and has side pockets.
I’m also wearing gray Dearfoam slippers. Another great slipper!

I just ordered some of the lounge wear. It looks so cute and comfy! I was diagnosed with COVID-19 and was hospitalized last week for five days. I’m very blessed to be home now. Each week gets harder staying home, but you are right, many on the front lines would love to be safe at home. I pray for you all. Please pray for my husband, son and daughter. They all are in healthcare and on the front lines. Love the cute lounge wear. I could use some brighter, Springier ones. 🙂
I can’t buy many clothing items from JCPenny because they don’t come in XS, and some of their clothes run large. I wish they would consider how many potential customers are out there.
How heavy is the LS pink top? Is it thick or thin? It’s already pretty warm in Atlanta, but the top looks cute!
It’s lightweight. Perfect for inside with the air condition on. 🙂
I have read some comments that you shouldn’t talk about fashion now. I totally disagree. You have always been clear what your priorities are and fashion is not at the top. I thank you for being a bright spot in my day and bringing a feeling of normality

For anyone who feels that what you are doing is not important, they evidently are not reading BFTH, and all the compassionate things you post, IN ADDITION to your fun fashion items. I just CANNOT read only serious things all the time.
We are all aware of the serious situation in which we are living, but we have to continue to live…😘

I agree… we went for a walk yesterday in our subdivision and we passed a family. The dad said to me” our daughter loves your sneakers “(I had on my bright pink Nike’s) I smiled and said,”thank you just trying to brighten things up these days..” we can all use a little cheer😀

I think people tend to underestimate JCPenney (I do too!). Yet, I can always find something I love there and at a reasonable price, then I think “why don’t I shop here more?!”. Unfortunately the first slippers you show are only available in small. All other sizes are not available. Too bad! They look so comfortable.
I am sorry that you received a negative post on Facebook about being concerned with nails when there are other more “important” things right now. I want to say that, yes, it is a horrible time for everyone, especially for some, and it is heartbreaking. But what I learned from when my daughter went through cancer treatment, twice, you have to find some kind of normal in the midst of things that are not normal, that are scary and dangerous. Looking for outlets is not avoidance; it is trying to stay sane in an insane situation. Just my opinion, and I know others don’t agree. I just want to find something good each and every day. This is what I am telling my students.
I totally agree with your comment, and well said! When I went through my cancer treatment I finally felt some kind of normalcy when I could put on makeup and I even got two cute wigs!
