How To Style a Floral Blouse

Happy Tuesday, ladies! Today I’m sharing how to style a floral blouse. The blouse is from LOFT and I styled it four different ways. It’s a pretty light blue blouse with a v-neckline and puffed sleeves.

First, I styled the floral blouse with white jeans and a blush block heel pump.

Next, I styled the blouse with a pair of navy blue shorts. You can wear whatever style or length that you prefer. I styled these paperbag shorts last summer, so I grabbed them, and I added my Tory Burch sandals.

Of course, this blouse looks good with jeans, so I styled it with a pair of American Eagle straight crop jeans, and I added a wedge heel.

Lastly, I went super casual with a pair of denim shorts. I would wear this to a casual summer cookout (I’m sure hoping to go to some of those this summer!).

  1. I ordered the masks from Sanctuary Clothing. They arrive in a cellophane package with Chinese symbols on the packaging. The directions are to wash hands and take out of package and then more directions on how to place on your face and to dispose of after a few uses. I wanted to wash mine first, obviously, and the middle insert of material comes out of the wash all wadded up. Very disappointing! The attached tag states they are made in China. I guess I thought I was buying 5 masks that I could wash and use multiple times. I am very disappointed!

  2. I’ve had my eye on that blouse and am so glad that you styled it four different ways. They all look great!

  3. Love this blouse and it looks super cute each way you styled it, so don’t know if I could pick a favorite. But have to say that I am a fan anytime you have an outfit styled with those wedge sandals!
Any chance you will be doing a post with some wide leg pants?

  4. Pretty blouse and I like all the ways you’ve styled it.. very versatile. I’ve been wearing a mask anytime I have to make our grocery store run.. which I’m doing every 3-4 weeks. I too hate wearing a mask ( it’s the commercial kind so very thick and I feel like I can’t breath) we had them left over from when we built our house… its going to be hard in the hotter months but looks like it will be our new norm if we want to be in public. I am definitely going to need the thinner ones that’s for sure but still need to know I’ll be safely protected.I probably won’t be running out unnecessarily I guess. Restrictions haven’t been lifted at all where I am in Canada. My heart goes out to all the front line workers who have to spend hours in their masks..blessings and thanks and big hugs to them.

  5. I have a question about the white lamps that you just purchased for your living room. It is listed as having a 9 watt LED bulb. Isn’t that really dim?

  6. What I cute blouse. I can see that it’s very versatile. QUESTION: I’m noticing a lot of tops with the elastic on the upper arms. My arms are quite muscular so I find that the elastic is usually too tight. How tight is the elastic on this top? Thank you

  7. What a pretty pretty blouse! I love it with the white jeans!

As for face masks…ughhhh, I absolutely hate the thought of wearing one, and will only wear one if I must. That being said, I guess I will look like Dr. Birx on TV with all her scarves – LOL – I will keep one in my purse just in case.
We are being allowed to slowly go back in to our office soon, and may have to wear face masks. I told my boss, no thanks, I’ll just work from home until that requirement goes away.
Thanks for sharing all the options though – very helpful!

  8. Cyndi – love your posts and I look forward to them. Thanks for the link on masks – however these are made in China! No thanks.

    1. Dawn, sorry I have no control where things are made, and I’m hoping more companies will come back to the U.S.

Ann Taylor/LOFT, the 18th largest apparel retailer in the U.S., and most of their clothes are manufactured in Asia. More Ann Taylor clothing is made in China than in any other country.

Just thought I would share, you will not want to purchase LOFT items either.
