Happy hump day! I feel like summer is in full swing, and we have been enjoying some beautiful weather.
Today I’m sharing a simple black and white outfit. Black and white is timeless, and it’s my favorite go-to color combination.
My top is from LOFT, and it has a tiered button back, the top doesn’t need to be tucked in.
Here is what the top looks like from the back. This top runs more true to size than most LOFT tops, so if you’re in between sizes, I would size up on this one.
My white jeans are also from LOFT. These are a great pair of white jeans. I like the thickness, they’re not see-through at all. They also have a cute cinched hem.
I styled my outfit with these Steve Madden sandals. These are a stylish and comfortable sandal.

Love the top but am having trouble getting measurements from loft. I am 5’1′ but sometimes like the regular sizes because of shirts being short. do you know the length of the xs that you have and what would your suggestion be. I am not sure if xs or xs p is better. Thank you

Hi Cyndi. I love the top. Can you provide your sizes? I rely on them to know what size to get, especially at Loft. TTS doesn’t always help because I wear different sizes depending on the fit. Please don’t listen to that person who chastised you the other day about body image. We’re not delicate! Thank you!

I have these same pants in jean color I got at the end of the season, right before Fall and really like them. I have trouble with LOFT white jeans. They seem to have so many wrinkles in the material around the legs and with white they are really noticeable. I wish our local LOFT would open up, so I could go try some pants and try these. I have 2 returns to do too and want to do in-store there. That seems strange what someone commented on below about LOFT opening up but all sales “final.” I hope that isn’t sign of the LOFT stores closing. I know so many stores were struggling to stay open and closed around here, like GAP and now with Covid I hate to think of more closing and us going to ONLY online shopping. You look so cute in the black and white outfit. I will check out the top.

I tried on multiple pair of white jeans in several stores back in March but none were just right…especially for the higher price. THEN I ordered two styles from Loft, a frayed hem and regular crop, with the intent of hopefully keepOmg at least one. They BOTH fit so great that I kept both! I have a skinnier waste and wider thighs, FYI.
Nothing like classic black and white. I actually purchased this cute top last week, My local Loft store open back up and everything in the store is “final sale” (although they are allowing 7 days to return since you can’t try anything on). All tops were $12.88. I took advantage of many bargains in the store. 🙂

I love this black and white look! So easy to pull together and always makes me feel polished! I got a cheap pair of white cropped jeans at Costco! I don’t usually buy clothes there but these are a nice light weight for summer. Have to wear a nude panty since they are thinner but nice stretch and not too warm!
