Beauty For the Heart~~ Sometimes God asks us to step out (or through). We don’t know what we’ll see until we go through the deluge. It’s scary to step into the unknown, but it’s also where we find Jesus; and wherever we find Jesus, we find life. Fear calls out our doubts: God calls out our names. -Bob Goff

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cyndi,
Thanks for posting the words to “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus”. I grew up singing those wonderful hymns in church, and I wish churches today still used those hymns as much in worship because they are filled with Scriptural treasures that encourage and focus our minds on God and Jesus! Reading those words bring tears to my eyes because they’re so beautiful and true.

  2. I love that song. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace. Thank you for the reminder.

  3. Wow, I have not heard that song in a very long time! My childhood just flashed before my eyes. Thanks for the reminder! 💗

  4. I need a good comfortable strapless bra…any recommendations? I’m large busted, 42C, and have never worn one that would stay up or that is comfortable..

  5. Cute outfit! I love mixing prints. Whenever I do, I get compliments. One of my favorite verses is Isaiah 41:10. Our God is a faithful promise keeper!

  6. I love your posts! I always look forward to reading the BRTH. The words of the hymn. I was up most of the night fretting and worrying and trying to pray. I needed those words today! You are beautiful inside and out!

  7. This is very pretty and I wouldn’t have thought to do the pattern mix. I think it’s something you need to be confident in doing or I would be thinking about it the whole time I’m out.. lol . There’s a stylist I watch on a tv show who often does this but I just can’t get my head around it.. much better than yesterday’s I have to admit❤️Thanks for sharing a beautiful hymn the words are much needed in these days😀

  8. You are right , This is much nicer than yesterday. Sorry but yesterday was a bit much even for me, a colour lover through and through. I do think it is good for us all to stretch our ideas and consider other looks. Pattern mixing is something I just can’t master. So keep showing us ideas. Thanks! Love the hymn, I knew the words but I can not remember the tune. It was a perfect thought for my day!

  9. I love the song you mentioned in the email! Right now we all need to turn our eyes upon Jesus!

I know He is not surprised but He must be heartbroken at the division of all the people that He created – we are all equally important to Him. Our country (the world) needs a revival like never before. 🙏🏻❤️

And I want to thank you for not being ashamed to shine His light and His truth in your blog.

  10. Have you ever hear the version of Turn your Eyes upon Jesus by Nichole Nordeman? I have been listening to it on repeat during these crazy times. Cute outfit too btw!

  11. Love the hymn you posted this morning. I read through the words but found myself singing it inside my head and could almost hear my mom sitting in church next to me singing it…brought back beaufiful thoughts of the old hymns…and that one is so relevant to these times.

  12. Love this combo! Thanks for the song lyrics too, that is perfect, and I agree about the news being overwhelming. We took a full 48-hour no news weekend and it was a good break.
