Happy Sunday, ladies! We had a great church service this morning, and I have a women’s ministry meeting tonight.
We are relaxing this afternoon with my daughter and her family and I might even have a chance for a quick Sunday afternoon nap.
As we begin a new week, I wanted to share 3 things to encourage you and hopefully get you ready for your week ahead.
1. Know that you are loved.
Scripture reminds us over and over again, the love God has for us. John 14:6 says, And so we KNOW and RELY on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God and God in them.
2. Don’t get discouraged.
This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
It’s easy to get discouraged, especially with all that’s going on in our world. But God tells us that He is with us. So as you start your week, cling to Jesus, and know wherever you go, He will be with you.
3. Choose to see the blessings.
One of the best ways to start your week is to count your blessings. Thank Him for His protection, for the sunset, the sunrise, your family, etc. We are all covered in God’s blessings, we need to take the time to recognize them.
(Bonus: Another thing I love to do is listen to praise and worship music! We sang this at church today.)
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Have a blessed day!

Cyndi, thanks for the uplifting message! Have a wonderful week ahead! 💕
From reading the comments of others, I think we all needed to hear (read) those words.
Thanks again
Thanks for the encouragement.
Today, for some reason it hit home for me.
Thank you so much for those beautiful encouraging words. I really needed that today. It seems I have had lots of highs and lows with everything that is going on right now. It is always comforting to know that God puts angels on our paths when we need it the most.
Needed that encouragement. Very uplifting. Love that song. Amen
Thank you for those encouraging words. I certainly needed to read those today. It always amazes me how when we need it the most God puts angels in our path.
Beautiful post Cyndi 😘
Thank you ! I need to be encouraged. I have been suffering w a migraine for about a week.
I have started following a lot of bloggers who also discuss fashion, beauty, women’s issues, etc and I truly, truly enjoy your posts, your authenticity and your faith-based messaging. So much so, that I am trimming my list of ladies to follow. Please keep it up!
Thank you for making my day with this post!
Thank you Cyndi. I didn’t even realize how much I needed the encouragement today. Your words really blessed me.
thank you!!
PS. I bought the Gibson grey jumpsuit yesterday and the 25% off did work. Great savings. Thanks for the recommendation and code to use. Can’t wait to receive it. Blessings for your week ahead.
Thank you Cyndi. Needed to hear that. I do ok but we don’t feel safe yet going to church or being around others than our family and so I just feel so isolated. I don’t know the answer. I just don’t want to catch covid. My daughters in laws have it and are fighting hard. Day 40 for them. :(. Made it more real to me. How do you know how much you should and shouldn’t do? Like your woman’s ministry meeting? I’m not fearful but want to be safe. But feel those around me go on with their lives. Anyway I have been spending time on my walks counting my blessings. This morning my walk was sooo beautiful. Glad you enjoyed your family today. Mine come Friday. Celebrating my first granddaughters first bday Saturday too. She is a blessing for sure.
Loved your message we all need encouragement and up lifting to God be the glory.Love reading your beauty from the heart and love your clothes you show hsve bought a ton of them.
Kathy, I am in a similar situation. My husband and I are not comfortable going to church and have only occasionally had an outdoor gathering with another couple. It’s very hard because all of our friends and local family members are going about life just as they did last summer. Our state has not been hit hard, but we know people who have had the virus. We are in a high risk category, but still feel pressured and judged by others because of our choices. I wish people would realize how hurtful their comments are. 😢
It’s amazing how our outlook can change when our focus is on him!
Thanks for sharing 💕
Thank you for sharing God’s words. Also for your encouraging words. We All need this more especially now with the way world might be heading. I especially needed to hear how much God does live me.
