A Color Trend for Fall: 22 Days of Fall Fashion

Happy hump day, ladies! There are so many pretty colors trending this fall, but one of my favorites is a wine color. This color is always popular this time of year, and it’s a color I love to wear.

Today I’m styling a pretty Satin Smocked Neck Ruffle Sleeve Top from Express two different ways.

First, I dressed the top up with a pair of Super High Waisted Black Straight Jeans.

The top has a v-neck with cute ruffle sleeves.

The black jeans are a straight leg, and I styled them with my leopard print heeled sandals. These sandals are 50% off right now.

Next, I styled this top with a pair of High Waisted Black Button Fly Skinny Jeans (I would say these jeans are gray).

My animal print loafers are from Express and on sale for under $25.

I always love adding a blazer to my outfits.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~ Every person needs more compassion. We may not know what someone is dealing with, walking through, struggling against, fighting for, or crying about in the dark hours of the night.

But one thing I do know, we all have tear stains on our pillow.

And your unusual kindness, patience, or grace may actually be the very thing God uses to reach inside their desperation and help them believe He hears their prayers. ~Lysa Terkeurst

Have a blessed day!

  1. You look great Cindi! Thanks for the Beauty For The Heart. I always look forward to your fashion because you always do it right! 🙂

  2. Love your new head shot. I love the top with the grey jeans. The grey looks so nice with it and makes the top pop. Please pray for all the fires in Oregon here. Many have lost their homes and many still are evacuating as I type. So sad.

  3. Your new headshot is gorgeous!
My mom used to say, “Make a wish!” when we’d pass a load of hay while on the highway…I do that even now when I pass a harvested hayfield; I pray for more compassion in people’s hearts. I was telling my hairdresser that story the other day and sort of lamented the fact that there’s not a lot of evidence that that prayer is working as far as what’s going on in our country. She replied that if my prayer changed only one heart each time, it was worthwhile. That is certainly true…it is said, “One step at a time…” Blessings to you and your readers!

  4. Love the blouse, that’s a color I can wear as I’m not a rust fan. I also love your new photo at the beginning of your page.. so pretty!

  5. Love the color and also your new headshot. Beauty For The Heart is on point for me today. Thank you! Indeed we all have tear stains on our pillows. Kindness matters

  6. So glad burgundy is a trending color. It looks so rich and elegant! Always been one of my favorites! Wine, plum, magenta, already in my wardrobe in various amounts. Also in my decorating scheme!

  7. Beautiful color top and perfect for this time of year. I snagged the snake mules for only $10 dollars because I had a $15 reward 😃 Thank you!

      1. Beauty For The Heart is spot on today. If we could all just show a little more compassion, grace, and kindness even when someone else has none to give.
I just love fall colors! Definitely my color palette! Watching for that first cold front can be pretty exciting in the south!
