Pleated Sleeve Top from Evereve: 22 Days of Fall Fashion

Happy hump day, ladies! It’s Day 17 of 22 Days of Fall Fashion, and I’m styling a pleated sleeve top from Evereve.

I’ve said before that sleeves are having a moment this year in fashion. Some of the sleeves can get really big, but this top is on-trend with a touch of a puff sleeve.

I’ve already worn this outfit a couple of times this month. It’s perfect for a warm fall day.

My jeans are 7 For All Mankind, and they’re a premium denim, so they’re pricey but they are 40% off. I have to admit they’re the jeans I’m reaching for the most right now. They’re so comfy!

I added a Victoria Emerson pearl bracelet to my outfit. It’s on sale right for $24. 20 (reg. $44).

Of course, I always have a jacket on hand, and with this outfit, I’m wearing a utility jacket from Old Navy.

My Look

Utility Jacket (I’m wearing a xs)//Pleated Sleeve Top (I’m wearing a small)//Pearl Earrings//Pearl Bracelet//Black Belt (I’m wearing a small)//Jeans (I’m wearing a size 27)//Madewell Mules (I sized up 1/2 size)

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Now head over and see what Jo-Lynne Shane is styling today!

Beauty For the Heart~~ God is using your present circumstances to make you more useful for later roles in His unfolding story. -Louie Giglio

None of us are immune to pain and suffering in this life. I have certainly felt the pain of loss and hurt in my own life.

One of my favorite verses about suffering is 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (MSG), So we are not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace.

These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye.

The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Hi,
You shared a green cardigan from j crew and I’m not finding it wondering if you can tell me if it’s still available? It didn’t have have any buttons

  2. Cyndi, this has been my favorite scripture for the past 4 years as we have walked through some of the darkest days of our lives. Thank you for the reminder. If we could only see the way these things are preparing us for Heaven, but alas, we must only Trust.

Would you say these kinds of tops, with sleeve detail like this one, are good for broad shouldered women? Or do you think it would accentuate the broadness? Thanks!!

    1. Hi Joni,
Any details on sleeves, especially puff sleeves will add bulk to the shoulder area. This style works great for pear shaped bodies as it adds the bulk to your narrowest part balancing your body shape. I believe those with broad shoulders should avoid puff sleeves, ruffled sleeves, or any extra detail in that area. Hope you don’t mind me jumping in here.

    2. Just jumping in because im broad sholder (big boobs) and narrow hipped. I find that i look better if the puff in at the bottom of the sleeve, kind of a pirate sleeveor the bell sleeve option. Then it adds the detail more in the hip area, and i don’t have the football player look!! LOL I can’t do the padded sholders either. Our body type is so hard to dress!!!! right???

  3. Love this look too. Note on the jeans…..7 for all Mankind’s website has a 40% off sale right now. These jeans are included if anyone is looking.

  4. Your BFTH could not be more true:) the jacket on line appears to be a darker olive green. Is that the true color as your picture shows it a little more sage green.
    Blessings
    Karen
