Dressing Up With Chico’s

Good morning ladies! Today I’m dressing up with Chico’s. Whether you dress up for work or church, these outfits are a great option for fall.

Right now, Chico’s has 50% OFF YOUR HIGHEST-PRICED ITEM when you spend $100 or more. Use code 39956.

First up, I’m styling this geometric link print scarf blouse. The blouse has a V-neck line, and the scarf is removable.

These pants are made of a soft, stretch ponte fabric. They are so comfortable and come in several different colors.

I’m also wearing these pretty Goldtone Twisted Hoop Earrings. I love a hoop earring, and these are lightweight.

Next up, I styled the black ponte pant with a Pleat Sleeve Sweater in cranberry spice.

This metallic crossbody bag has a chain strap and is great for dressy or casual wear.

These statement drop earrings are lightweight and such a pretty accessory to add to any outfit.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~ Fear is a real problem with many of us, and with all that is going on in our world, more than ever, people are living in fear.

God doesn’t want us to live in fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

When I’m feeling fearful, I read this verse and claim God’s promise. God has given us a spirit of power, love, and self-discipline.

Have a blessed day!

  1. I was just trying on my new ponte pants and started reading your post. I got them in size 1, and they fit really well. For those of you wondering about Chico’s sizing, I am between a 10-12 in most jeans. I bought the pants in Cranberry Spice and the snake print keyhole top to go with them, and I love it! You look so great in this outfit, Cyndi – very pretty. I am worried that the ponte pants are aging, especially in Cranberry – but seeing them on you helps!

  2. You look great in their clothes! I wanted to try their petite selection too but 00P was too big and the plain 000 fit better in the store. I always like to try on in the store so have a vague idea of what size to order. Their clothing sizing are so different! You did wonderful getting yours to fit just perfect!

  3. You look so cute in both outfits. Simple, but so nice. When I looked at the site, I wouldn’t have taken a second look at these clothes, but you make them look so cute. The site makes them look more matronly. I had to laugh when I read your post opening where you said you might dress up to go to the grocery store. It made me think of something that was sent to me. It was a lady dressed in a huge cinderella gown and the caption said, “Heading to the mailbox to get the mail. ” LOL I think we all want somewhere to go to have a reason to get out of loungewear and feel normal. I love the verse you shared in BFTH. I too try to remember HIS promise during this time. Have a great Thursday. We are having beautiful sunny weather in NW Oregon. Going to be 62 today.

  4. I really like that cranberry top you’re wearing, but is the link right? The one provided is showing a different top than what you’re wearing. Thanks!

    1. Sue…..I thought the same thing. Didn’t know if it was just that Cyndi looks better in the sweater. The site lady looks more matronly huh?

  5. I recently discovered Chico’s and once I figured out the sizing that really helped plus the quality is really good. Unfortunately, we’re not getting out much and I just work part time, so I just can’t justify spending the money on clothes I won’t wear. I still have items I bought in the spring that I haven’t worn so it make me sad. But, my husband and I are going out to dinner for our anniversary tonight so I will get to dress up 😊

  6. Those 2 tops look amazing on you. I’ve never shopped in Chicos, but visit WHBM, their sister store often. Do you ever style any clothing from that store? I would love to see how their Holiday collection looks on you since we are close to the same size and height! Love the insiration, Cyndi!

  7. Love the outfits! I’m with you Cyndi, I’m going to find a reason to dress up a little and not live in loungewear. I miss the days when people dressed up more for church. Anyway, lol. Thanks for being a bright spot in our day. Blessings!

  8. It’s a nasty day in TN too! As for dressing up I’ll be honest and say I have not missed it. It has been nice to not worry about what I’m wearing to work, etc. I have put on jeans a couple of times lately :); other than a wedding I attended that’s about as dressed up as I have gotten. If I were still going in to the office to work though both of these would be great options.

    1. Hi Cyndi,
The outfits look great. I’m a little confused however, the link to the top doesn’t look the same as you have styled. It’s a v neck and the one you have looks like a rounded neck. Am I missing something?
      Marcia

      1. Marcia…..you are right, the site shows v neck sweater and Cyndi is wearing rounded neck. I thought something was different.
