Casual Thanksgiving Day Outfit from Gibsonlook

Hi ladies! It’s November, and that means Thanksgiving will be here soon. While it might look different this year, most of us will probably have a Thanksgiving meal, so I’m styling a casual Thanksgiving Day outfit.

In the last couple of years, my husband’s family has come to our house, so I have to dress comfortably since I do a lot of cooking.

I’ve found that it’s best to change into what I’m going to wear about an hour before everyone arrives.

Gibsonlook has several new arrivals that are cute and not overly dressy if you’re looking for a more casual look. This puff sleeve top will be perfect for Thanksgiving Day (Use code CYNDI20 for 20% off your Gibsonlook order).

I love the puff sleeves, they’re not overly dramatic, but the puff sleeves make it very on-trend. I’m wearing the wine color, but it also comes in gray.

The back of the top has a peephole closure.

I paired the top with Just Black jeans from Social Threads. They’re a high-rise skinny jean with the perfect amount of stretch. The washed black color is perfect for fall.

I’ve been wearing these gold statement earrings from Chico’s with a lot of my outfits. They’re lightweight and so pretty.

This outfit is perfect for Thanksgiving Day or lunch with a friend. It’s definitely a go-to outfit for me this fall.

My Look

Puff Sleeve Top (I’m wearing an XS)//Just Black Jeans (I’m wearing a size 28)//Gold Earrings//Gold Chain Bracelet//Black Circle Belt//Crossbody Handbag//Black Boots (I sized up 1/2 size)

Here are the new arrivals and some of the Holiday Collection they released a few weeks ago. Don’t forget to use code CYNDI20 for 20% off your Gibsonlook order.

If it’s not extremely cold on Christmas Eve, I will wear this outfit (with a coat) to our Christmas Eve service at church. I can always wear these boots instead of the black heels.

Whitney Satin Wrap Top (I’m wearing an XS)//Brighton Satin Joggers (I’m wearing an XS)//Earrings//Necklace//Black Heels (TTS)

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~

Lord, help me live from day to day
In such a self-forgetful way
That even when I kneel to pray
My prayer shall be for others.

Others, Lord, yes others,
Let this my motto be,
Help me to live for others,
That I may live like Thee.

Help me in all the work I do
To ever be sincere and true
And know that all I’d do for You
Must needs be done for others.

  1. Cyndi- I ordered this top as soon as I saw your post! Thanks for helping me look good for my Thanksgiving get together!

  2. Love the top and the color! Such a nice casual but put together outfit… I do the same thing change just before everyone arrives..Hard to dress up then be in kitchen.

  3. Hi Cyndi! This outfit is really pretty. I’m glad you styled something for Thanksgiving that is lighter weight because I usually get hot from all the cooking/heat in the kitchen. Also, if I’m at someone else’s home I cannot control the temperature setting. The thought of wearing a sweater is not pleasant!

  4. That is a beautiful outfit but I am laughing because the thought of putting on anything tight around my waist on Thanksgiving day is so far out of the realm of possibility for me, could you show as an outfit with stretchy pants ha ha
