I recently purchased this ribbed dress in the secret plum purple color. It also comes in true black and heather grey.
For reference, I’m 5’5,” and I ordered a tall in this dress. You can see it’s still a few inches above my knee.
I paired the dress with my tan Vince Camuto boots. As the weather gets colder, I’ll wear it with black tights and tall black boots.
I love adding layers, and this faux fur vest is a great layering piece.

The BFTH is really dark but it speaks to me. Was that intentional? My son is going through some awful stuff and I think this applies to him. He needs some kindness in his life.
Yes to Christmas movies also! Hallmark channel. LOL! Yes, some are sappy but need that too. The dress is adorable on you. I looked and my xs size petite is gone. I love your boots too!
Love the dress and color. The fur vest looks so great with it but I’d feel really funny wearing it. I don’t like to stand out snd it’s too dressy for our church. :(. You look great in the outfit. How would you even know to order a tall length? Do you do a lot of returning trying to get right size or do you usually guess right on? I have struggled terrible trying to order jeans online during covid. I finally got the right size of the ones you are styling with the sweaters today. I had to size down as they recommended. Speaking of covid. Were you able to trace how you caught it back in the Fall?
