Holiday-Inspired Outfit

Thanks to Victoria Emerson for sponsoring this post.

Happy Friday, ladies! I can’t believe Christmas is three weeks from today. Have you finished your shopping yet? I still have a few gifts I need to buy, but I’m getting there.

Today I’ve got a holiday-inspired outfit, and I also want to share that Victoria Emerson has extended their Cyber Monday sale, so all jewelry is 50% off, no code needed.

Victoria Emerson jewelry sells out quickly, and unfortunately, both of my bracelets are sold out, but there’s still plenty of pretty ones to purchase.

Here are some of my favorites (I have all of these):

I love tartan, and this top from J.Crew Factory is festive for the holiday season. You can wear it with dress pants, jeans, or a skirt; I styled it with black jeans.

I added some bling with my Victoria Emerson bracelets. This bracelet would be cute with this outfit.

Tartan Top (I’m wearing a small)//High Rise Jean (I’m wearing a size 28)//Crossbody Bag//Black Boot//Black Belt

I recently shared this black wrap bracelet. It’s priced under $20.

Silver & Black Crystals Wrap Bracelet//Puff Sleeve Top (I’m wearing a small)//Coated Jeans (I’m wearing a size 6)//Black Booties//Black Clutch

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For The Heart~~ Yesterday, I went to the cemetery and placed a wreath on my mom’s grave. This is my 12th Christmas without my mom. I still miss her so much.

I tell you this because while we sing the song, It’s the most wonderful time of the year, it’s not always the most wonderful time of the year.

Many people are hurting this Christmas, and I know how it feels to celebrate the “first” Christmas without a loved one. The “firsts” are the hardest.

If you’re hurting this year, I’m praying for you, and I’m sending a virtual hug to you!

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:3-4

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cyndi,
Praying for you this Christmas season. The wreath on your sweet mother’s grave is so beautiful. May the memories of the times with your mom bring you peace.

  2. Thank you for your post today. This will be our first Christmas without Mom. She passed in August. I realized why I’m not quite as cheerful this year. I know where Mom is and take comfort in that but I miss her….

  3. HI Cyndy recently signed up for your site. Really enjoy your inspiration and fashion tips. you have the prettiest boots but most are too high heeled for me. Would love to see some 2in suggestions for those of us who can’t do a 3 in heel! Thank you!!

  4. You always look amazing! I love these Christmas outfits! The tartan is fabulous! This is our first Christmas with both my dad and my father in law in Heaven. Its been quite the year. But we are doing a family donation event in their honor, so we are focusing on that. Our daughter is home from college for a bit, so that makes everything much better(: Merry Christmas to you and your family. Thanks for keeping your blog a happy, and God centered, place!

  5. Blessings to you, Cyndi. I will place the winter floral arrangement on my mom’s grave next week. My dad, who lives in a care facility and has dementia at age 88, was diagnosed with Covid. He lives on the other side of the country, and I haven’t seen him since October 2019.
But God works in mysterious ways. I will become a grandmother in April after Easter.

  6. Your comment hit home as this will be my first Christmas without my husband of 35 years. He passed away September 28 of a stroke at 80. He had stage IV prostate cancer so the stroke was unexpected. While it’s been hard at least I could be with him in the hospital where a lot of other spouses have not been that lucky. I always enjoy your articles.

  7. Pretty holiday outfit! Love Victoria Emerson bracelets. I still miss both my parents especially at Christmas as they both had a way of making the season extra special 💕

  8. Praying for your family. I miss my daddy so I understand, but delighted He is with the Lord, like your mom 😘

  9. Thank you Cyndi
My Mom has been gone 5 1/2 years & my Dad just 5 months. I know what you mean about missing someone.
I am thankful for your Bible verses, very comforting.
Your Holiday outfit is very pretty.
Thank you for all your hard work each day.
    You are a Blessing

  10. Loved your post today. My Mom is in a nursing home and we haven’t been able to hug her since March. We call daily and had one parking lot visit but due to the guidelines in our state, we can’t even do that again. She wants to go and be with my Dad in heaven and we just don’t know how to comfort her. This is a season to lean on our faith for sure.

    1. Susan I read your comment and it’s exactly as if I wrote it. My mom also in a care home and my dad gone to heaven and she is so lonely and we haven’t hugged her since March etc etc. so hard. She tells me on the phone she is lonely and please get her out as she wants to go home and see family. That is her home. She has dementia so makes all this harder.

  11. Thank you so much for these beautiful words Cyndi 🙏🏻💔
Our hearts are broken in a million pieces today , my sister lost her husband this past weekend to Covid, she had it also and by God’s Grace and mercy survived it. We’ve had 2 losses in less than 2 months but God !! We are Trusting God in all of this !! We pray for you as well

  12. Hi Cyndi! Thank you for the comforting BFTH. Looking forward to you being an Evereve ambassador! I love the Fate sweater you linked in your email-what size are you wearing? Thank you!!
