Happy Thursday, ladies! I am still trying to get used to saying and writing 2021. It’s hard to believe we are already three weeks into the new year.
I’m super excited to see the classic, white button-down shirt making a strong comeback this year; it’s taking over in 2021
The white shirt is a wardrobe staple; it’s simple and chic. Hollywood icons such as Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly wore them loose with capri pants or tucked into skirts.
To say this shirt has been around a while would be an understatement.
I recently purchased a white button-down from EVEREVE. It has side slits, hangs longer in the back, and has a soft feel. (More white button-downs below at different price points.)
First, I styled a casual look with jeans and sneakers. I left the shirt out, but you could tuck it in or tie it at the waist for some different looks.

Next, I layered a crew neck sweater over the white shirt.

Lastly, I dressed the shirt up with a colorful coat and a pair of heels. This is probably my favorite way to style it.
I love a coat, and this one from Kohl’s is on sale for $59.99.
These square toe heels are a beautiful color. They’re regularly $129, but they’re 60% off at Nordstrom.
Somebody ran outside (boots on the wrong feet) to get in on the action.
She kissed my lips so she could have some lip color on her lips. She is all girl!

Beauty For the Heart~~ There is something magical about facing your fears. When you show up and do the thing, have the hard conversation, or face the issue, and you realize the dread was far worse than the fear.
You realize that the enemy doesn’t try to stop you because you’re incapable or unworthy, rather, he is terrified of how fast you’ll run once you remove the weights from your ankles.
Because You + Jesus, wild and free? UNSTOPPABLE!
So, face your fears. Decide to believe that His favor over you is enough to take a step forward.

That’s interesting to hear. I haven’t seen any white shirts through the fashion bloggers I follow on social media. I thought the 2021 shirt is the shacket. It’s everywhere I look! I just ordered one from Amazon.

Oh my goodness. You must have read my mind. Just yesterday I was looking for a white button down online as I want one but thinking long enough to be able to wear with black leggings with jean jacket on top. I almost emailed you to see if you could do a post 🙂 lol. I love the one you styled awhile back with the plaid vest and leopard sneakers but you said it wrinkled. I’ve been reading articles re trends 2021. One I see repeatedly is the white button down shirt but it is styled oversized, think wearing your hubby’s shirt. I think I’ll stick to the more traditional style as you have here.

I love a white shirt but can’t seem to find one in petite that works for me. I ordered one from Loft a few months ago but it was too short in the front so I can to return it. Love those sneakers!
