Lay It At the Feet of Jesus

This past week there has been a reoccurring verse for me. It seems everywhere I look, everything I read, this verse keeps popping up.

Our grandson stayed all night with us Friday night. We usually do a devotion with him before he goes to bed. We use Jesus Calling devotion for kids.

2 Corinthians 10:5 was the verse we talked about….give our thoughts to Jesus.

Whatever is controlling our thoughts, is it lining up with Jesus?

Are you struggling with hurt? Lay it at the feet of Jesus.

Are you struggling with fear? Lay it at the feet of Jesus.

Do you feel unworthy? Lay it at the feet of Jesus.

Do you struggle with addiction? Lay it at the feet of Jesus.

As we begin a new week, let’s commit our week to Jesus. Let’s follow our plans loosely, and Jesus tightly.

I’ve shared this song before, but it’s so good! I have had it on repeat this week.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Have a blessed day!

    1. Cindy, thank you so much for sharing this scripture! I have a group I’d like to share this with as well. When posting scriptures, I like to show the verison it’s take from. What version is this? This truly hits home with the challenges our group is facing! Thanks again!

  3. Cyndi, isn’t it cool how God loves on us! He gave you this verse to share because many needed it! Thank you for being obedient!

  4. I’ve been struggling to recover from COVID-19 for a month. Being physically sick and not knowing what to expect as the virus progresses in your body as well as emotionally scared and worried has been exhausting. Thank you so much for your post today and the beautiful reminder to lay it all at the feet of Jesus. Peace be with you.

  5. Thank you, Cyndi, for today’s post! I struggle on and off with suppressed anger. I’m going to lay that down at Jesus’s feet and have him deal with it as he sees fit. I need to take that burden off of me. What a rock Jesus is! Amen!

  6. Clinging to this. My thoughts have been all over during covid. I have covid fatigue and struggling. So thankful I have a God that is there and always will be. Great to do devotions with your grandson.

  7. Thank you so much for this post Cyndi! This is also very timely for me and scripture I needed to hear. I love the song and already added it to my playlist.

  8. Wow! Thank you so much for that post! And I had never heard that song, I love it! So comforting and peaceful!

  9. I have to tell you Cyndi that same verse along with others kept going through my head when I was sick in December. The enemy will take any foothold he can to fill you with negative thoughts and make you doubt the promises of God and what God says in his word. Taking every thought captive is a fight for our mentality sometime. Thank you for sharing and confirming. God bless
