Happy hump day! Some of you have asked for work wear options, so I’ve got five different outfits today that I styled with black pants.
I styled the tops with Express Twill Skinny Pants. These are a high rise and very comfortable. I will say that straight leg and trouser pants are on-trend and I want to add some to my wardrobe.
I also wore these Madewell earrings. They’re a small, lightweight hoop that is a good option for work. I have these bracelets from Evereve and several bracelets (I never take these bracelets off) from Maple & J.
First up, I’m wearing a v-neck sweater in a pink color (called Camille). Pink is trending for spring and summer, and I love it. I will be adding lots of pink to my wardrobe.

The back of this sweater has a textured pattern. This sweater will be great for spring with white jeans.
Next, I’m styling a pretty lace sleeve blouse in wine red. It comes in several different colors. I styled it with a front tuck and black heels in this first picture.

Next, I’m showing the blouse styled without tucking it in, and I’m wearing an animal print heel.

This sweater is so cute and has a tie back detail in the back (see below). I styled it with animal print heels in this first picture, and I have a handbag from Glamour Farms. I love a structured handbag,

In this next outfit, I have a loose-fitting blouse (2125 Beige). This blouse has a ruffle neckline, and it’s a polyester/cotton blend, so it doesn’t wrinkle.

Lastly, I’m crazy over this puff sleeve sweatshirt top. You know I love puff sleeves, and they are going to be around for a while.
This top is so soft! The cream color is out of stock, but they still have gray and black. I found this top that looks almost identical in the ivory color.

Do you keep and wear the amazon sweaters? How do they hold up? I find their clothes to be low quality most times. I’d rather buy Loft sales and have it last. Could you do a Loft try on?
I hesitate to buy clothes on Amazon also. You usually get what you pay for and I don’t mind paying a bit more if the item will hold up for wash and wearing. Cute stuff but not taking the chance right now.
What is the best way to do the front tuck?

Since I’m retired I no longer have a need for work wear outfits. However all of the outfits you styled are so cute. I like to buy cute date nights, so some of these may work. I do find since Covid I just am buying fewer clothes to go out but I hope later this year that all changes and we can get back to normal
Great post but my favorite part was the measuring cups/spoons. Those a super cute and who doesn’t need a bright spot in the kitchen. Love it!

By the time the pandemic ends, or subsides, we’ll have been wearing jeans and casual tops for over a year at the law office where I work. When (if?) we go back to typical workwear again, I’ll need to do a reset. I’m not allowing myself to buy typical workwear until then. These are great options, though.
All the outfits were so cute. I love to wear pink so I’m happy that’s the color for now.

Great post! So many pretty tops. I love the pink sweater, but I’m wondering if the back is actually holey, so you’d see your bra/skin through them. Or is it lined so that isn’t an issue?
Yes, Could you give suggestions on leather nude mules or shoe? I find I need them coming up for this time of year for transition but the rain we get doesn’t work well with suede. I’m always tempted to go with them, as love the ones you are styling, but I know better than to order. Love all the outfits you are styling. I would like to get to an Express to try on the pants.

Love the nude mules, trying to find ones that are leather, not suede. Suede is too hard to clean especially when they get dirty from driving. Any suggestions for leather or faux leather?
