Day 10 Spring Fashion: Casual Weekend Wear

Happy Friday, ladies! I’m ready for the weekend, what about you? Today is Day 10 of 23 Days of spring fashion, and I’m wearing some casual weekend wear.

I have said before that I don’t live in loungewear, but that doesn’t mean I don’t wear it. One of my favorite places to shop for cozy loungewear is Gibson.

Use code CYNDI20 for 20% off anything at Gibson

This Ruffle Trim Zip Hoodie comes in three colors; I’m wearing the pink (orchid) color. This bubblegum pink color is everywhere this spring, and I’m here for it!

I’m wearing the hoodie with grey tie-front ruffle joggers. These joggers are so comfy, and there’s a v-neck pullover that matches the joggers.

These sneakers are from Target, and they remind me of J/Slides, but these are less expensive.

I’m ready for the weekend with my Gibson pieces!

Ruffle Trim Zip Hoodie (I’m wearing an XS, TTS for Gibson)//Tie Front Ruffle Jogger (I’m wearing a small, TTS for Gibson)//Sneakers (TTS)//Earrings//Pearl Necklace

Now, head to Jo-Lynne Shane and see what she’s styling for our 23 Day of Spring Fashion!

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~ The amazing thing is that throughout Scripture and history, it seems God has chosen the most seemingly unlikely and unqualified people to fulfill His plan and purpose on the earth.

Most often, the response of those people has been to insist on their own unworthiness. And if they don’t, the people around them may do so, loudly and shrilly.

And therein lies a danger: If we allow other people to tell us what we are and are not qualified to do, we will limit what God wants to do with us.~Christine Caine

Have a blessed day!

  1. I have to say this is one of my least favorite outfits you’ve shared. The frilly pink hoodie just seems to “fight” against the joggers instead of work with it. Looking forward to more seeing spring options from you.

  2. I just love your style!! I’m having a difficult time finding a pretty Easter dress for church! Have you found anything nice?

  3. Although I like the color of the sweatshirt, the design is too childish looking. The ruffled sweatshirt and camo pants are too chaotic together both in color and design.

  4. You look so adorable in this outfit, Cyndi! The ruffled sweatshirt is something different and fun! Thank you for sharing ways to mix different colors together. I learn a lot from you!!!

  5. You look so cute in this outfit. When I think of you, I think of pink. I think I’m too old for the outfit…..59, as I tend to not want to stick out in what I wear. But, love that you styled this to show us. Helps us think outside the box some. I’ve been drawn to too many neutrals lately and need more color for Spring and Summer. I have been doing a little yard work, as the weeds are so bad. Its beautiful sunny here today and going to get to 61. That is good for NW Oregon this time of year. I think we get those temps all weekend. 🙂

  6. A cute outfit on you. I would look like an elephant in it. The ruffle sweatshirt is too much with the camo pants for me. I guess it is supposed to be a juxtaposition (as Jo Lynn says), but to me it looks like the outfit is trying too hard. Separately, may work. enjoy the weekend.

  7. I love Gibson pieces! And this look is cute except I probably wouldn’t wear the sweatshirt.. just me! I really wish it didn’t cost so much for their clothing to ship to Canada:( our weather has been mild 56 today and sunny all though next week it’s going to get cold again:( attending a baby shower this weekend but we are taking turns going in small numbers ( kinda how we have to do things now).
    Happy weekend 💕🌸

  8. The color is cheerful but the ruffle makes it looks too young. I know it is suppose to be flirty but I find a lot of Gibson is almost childish. It is just not my style.
I’m looking forward to warmer days & evenings. I already started on some pruning and weeding in my front garden and had my hedge trimmed. It feels good to be outside dawdling. Well it’s working but I enjoy it.
It’s suppose to rain on Sunday so I might go through my closet and see what I have for spring clothes. It’s still too early to put away all winter but at least I’ll know what I need to buy to fill any gaps.
