Day 17 Spring Fashion: Classic Spring Work Wear

Hi ladies! Believe it or not, it’s day 17 in our 23 Days of Spring Fashion. There are only six days left!

Today I have a classic spring work wear outfit from J.Crew. Since I work from home, this will be a church outfit for me.

J.Crew has 40% off your purchase of $250 + with code GOSPRING.

This ruffle neck shirt is so cute, and I’m wearing the blue-white stripe color. It also comes in white, which would look great with jeans.

The shirt has a subtle ruffle neckline and ruffle cuffs.

I styled the top with a pair of mid-rise chino pants. They’re relaxed through the hip and thigh with a slim leg and come in several colors.

I love the relaxed fit, and they will be cute dressed down with a tee and sandals.

If you’re a fan of a classic look, this spring work wear outfit from J.Crew is a great option.

Classic-fit ruffle neck shirt (TTS, I’m wearing a size 4)//Slim boyfriend chino pant (TTS, I’m wearing a size 27)//Earrings//Belt (TTS, I’m wearing a small)//Madewell Camera Bag//Chain Bracelet//Kindness Bracelet//Sunglasses//Leopard Heels (similar option here)

Now, head to Jo-Lynne Shane and see what she’s styling for our 23 Day of Spring Fashion!

P.S. Check out this page for another Work Wear post!

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.

  1. Cute casual/slightly dressier outfits for Spring and into Summer. I’ve worn many different olive pant styles through the years. One thing I love about this color is what a wonderful neutral it is. I wear red, white, black, blue, purple/lavender and the list goes on. “Olive” is indeed a real work horse in my wardrobe.

  2. another perfect outfit for work!!!! Love it. Are you growing out your bangs?? If so, please tell us what you’re doing and how!!! I’ve tried many times, and it just makes me look tired!!!

  3. So happy to see you style olive pants because just yesterday I pulled mine out to wear but wasn’t sure how to style them for spring. So….I looked to see how you would wear them and sure enough I found a picture of you wearing them with a light pink bell sleeve sweater. Just like you mentioned in today’s post. Lol. I hope they still fit, trying to get some of last years Covid weight off 🙄

  4. I have a pair of pants very similar maybe a slight lighter I actually had them packed with my fall things but realized I can wear them in spring too… love the blue with it.. I’ve also worn a black and white small check peplum top too which is cute.. I’d like to see them styled more casually in another post or perhaps a five ways to wear 🤷‍♀️.. have a great day! Sunny again and going to be warm ☀️

  5. I love this – I have purchased 3 different pairs of olive jeans/pants in the last couple of years and i really struggle with them. I see great pics of outfits and then I wear them and struggle ugggg. I think maybe i consider them a colour instead of a neutral and I need to get past that. IT is such a nice alternative to blue jeans. I”ll keep trying 🙂
Posts like yours certainly help me shop my closet and figure these things out.

    1. Sharon…. I’m the same way. Mine sit in the closet looking brand new. I like pink with olive and navy but just can’t seem to get the right shoe to wear. Cyndi could you give ideas on shoes to wear with olive? Not work wear that you are wearing today. Like if I’d wear olive pants and navy top? It’s too cold here for sandals still but if I wait for sandal weather than I don’t like wearing olive pants in the hotter weather. Maybe I over think it.
