How To Be A Godly Woman Of Influence

Happy Sunday ladies! I hope you’re having a good weekend. Yesterday I spoke at a women’s conference at church. I feel like I ran a marathon because my body is sore. I must speak with my whole body! Haha!

A few weeks ago, I recorded a short video for our women’s Facebook page at church, it’s called Monday Minute. I shared how we as women, have influence and we need to use our influence wisely.

Have a blessed Sunday!

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.

  1. Thank you for sharing this message. Your mom must have been a wonderful woman to have left such a wonderful legacy through you. How proud she would be to see how you are using your platform and influence to further the kingdom! God Bless You!

  2. So good! I think too often we feel that if we aren’t in a leadership role with a large audience, that we are somehow falling short. Rather, we need to shun those negative voices in our heads that say we aren’t enough; and focus on God’s nudges in our own sphere of influence. Promotion comes with practice!

  3. Such a powerful and beautiful video! Made me teary hearing about your mom. Thank you for sharing this!

  4. Cyndi, this was beautiful! Brought me to tears. Whether our circle is big or small our influence negative or positive we can make a difference that impacts future generations.

  5. Thanks for sharing this, I totally agree that we should be women of faith, integrity, and the way we conduct ourselves and treat those around us is so important! It is no coincidence the people that the Lord puts in our path, he trusts us to be his hands, to lift, love, and help those around us.It is crucial that we stand up for what is right, the family, liberty, and freedom to worship. In the scriptures it says that Esther was reserved for “such a time as this”, we too have a role and a mission the Lord has for each of us for “such a time as this” we have been reserved for this time to assist in his work. How grateful I am for the women that have influenced my life, because of their goodness, and their examples!!

  6. Cyndi, a beautiful, well-done message. I fought back tears as you talked about your mom. Thank you for sharing this, it touched my heart. May God bless you richly as you continue to reach out to women that God places in your path.

    1. I loved your little devotional . I love your mom’s purpose in life and in death. For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain. Pray for me. I had breast cancer 5 years ago and it is now showing up in 3 lymph nodes.

    1. What a wonderful and wise video. Sometimes we think we need to reach many people, but we need to concentrate on those close to us and start there. Thank you!

    1. Suzanne Tudor thank you for being a teacher. Into days times it is hard to be in the class room and witness the things that Gods children are having to see, hear and live in. For that I admire you and your profession. God is with you.

Cyndi I so enjoy reading about your faith. Thank you for sharing your walk with Christ.

  12. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video! I loved it! I have been following you for several years, but have never commented. 14. Loved your video! I saw a quote recently that read: “It’s not who you impress, it’s who you impact.” Such wonderful truth! ♥️

  20. Beautiful video Cyndi. As Craig Groeschel says, “leadership is influence” so we all have people in our lives we influence, like you shared. Gods blessings to you & Wayne today 🥰 Thank You for sharing.

  21. Awesome message, Cyndi! I’m attempting, like your mother, to show my children and grandchildren a Godly life. Sometimes it feels like a futile effort. So thank you for the encouragement to wait on the Lord! Blessings to you and yours! ❤

  22. What a beautiful video to wake up to this morning! Thank you for not only posting fashion but also inspiring quotes from the Bible. You are truly an influencer in many ways!

  23. A wonderful message for all of us. I know I am an influencer – I struggle with worry that I am not the best I should be with my children and grandchildren. Most days I feel very inadequate, and think nothing I do is good enough. So I know there is a message inhere somewhere for my doubts. Thank you!

  24. Beautiful video Cyndi! I lost my mom 9 years ago she was 69.. she too passed with cancer. She was definitely an influencer in not only my life but the lives of our children that had the true blessing of knowing their nanny for so many years! I think about her each day and as our daughter is expecting their first child my hope and prayer is that I too can be just as much an influencer as my mom was💕

  25. Thank you for sharing your video. I have just been diagnosed with breast cancer. My husband and I have decided to wait until we have more information before sharing with our children. At this time sharing with them is the most difficult obstacle to face for the very reasons you spoke about in your video. Have I been the positive influence in their lives to this point and can I be the influence they need in the future? I’m not worried for myself because I know God has a plan for me and I’m grateful for His plan no matter the outcome. But I still struggle with the uncertainty of what’s ahead for my family mostly because it is out of my hands. That’s why your message resonated with me so strongly. If I can accept God has a plan through the diagnosis for myself, I then should accept He has a plan for my family too. I can’t ask why me? But instead why not us?

Thank you for the influence you so graciously give.

    1. I’m praying for you Tammy & your family. God is so faithful and He will be faithful to you & your family too 🙏🏻🥰

    2. Going to pray for you Tammy. God will get you through this time. I understand all you said. We as moms worry about our kids…… Our husbands too. Let go and let God. He is faithful. Bless you. Glad you shared so others can pray.

  26. LOVED your video! I’d love to share it on my Instagram. I’m a youth leader and it’s a great video for my girls. Thank you for sharing that with us. You’re awesome Cyndi!
