White Denim Guide

Denim styles change, but there’s one style that’s essential every spring and summer: white denim. Now that the weather is feeling more springlike, I’ll wear my white jeans more and more. They’re a spring and summer staple!

Best Places To Buy White Jeans

When it comes to shopping for white jeans, some of my favorite places are Nordstrom, LOFT, J.Crew, Evereve, and Banana Republic.

I have already styled several outfits with white jeans this spring. This year the trend is leaning towards a more relaxed fit which works great with white jeans.

Tips for Buying White Jeans

  1. Wear nude underwear that doesn’t have seams. This will give you a smooth look from the back.
  2. Try-on at home! You will feel more comfortable in your own space, and you’re able to see how they look with what is currently in your wardrobe.
  3. Don’t be afraid to size up! You don’t want white jeans that are too tight. Plus, every brand’s sizing and fit are a little different.

How to Style White Jeans

You saw me wearing white jeans in quite a few of the posts from 23 Days of Spring Fashion! Take a peek at the posts below for my styling tips!

  1. Well the white Loft flare jeans in your white denim post was not what I was hoping for. They were more of an oatmeal color and the flares were super long. I’m 5’5”. Anyways, those are heading back to loft. I’m super interested in the crop flares you wore on your cruise. I wouldn’t pay the money at that time but given I cannot find any white pants or jeans in good ole Western Kentucky, I’m more than willing to pay the price LOL. I was at your presentation at Zion’s Cause and follow you daily. If there is a post I may not be interested in (I can’t carry a handbag), I also search for Beauty for the Heart ❤️

  2. Orders the flares from Loft. I hope these are like the ones you wore on your cruise last Spring 😍

  3. Hi Cyndi,

Like all the styles. I have a pair of white jeans from the Loft I bought last year and a pair of Stylus from JCPenny I like a lot. Thanks for all the great tips!

  4. I LOVE white jeans!! Although they can be tricky , and finding the right pair a little difficult, it’s worth it!! I wear them all year around. They feel a little more on the dressy side to me, so it’s easy to wear them to work and not feel too casual. (Thankfully, however, my job is pretty casual!!)

    God is SO SO Good…
    Blessings!

    1. I bought a pair of Vince Camuto white skinnies at Macy’s end of season sale a few years ago and they have been great. They are still in style, have a raw hem, and aren’t see through 😉 I also have J Crew crop flares in white that I bought this year and I really like them a lot as well. I’m petite (5’3″) but leggy so crops work well for me.

  5. White jeans can be tricky. If I size up they stretch out. For some reason I don’t tend to grab mine much. I told myself I will more this Spring. I only have one pair I like the fit of. I’ll have to check out these styles closer. Thanks.

  6. Love the white! My son went through a heartbreaking time while being in ministry full time. God does heal the heart, but trust takes a while to return. He is serving in ministry with his brother now at a different church. God is a healer and restorer!

  7. Hi, Cyndy. Recently I went to a women’s coffee fellowship at a fellow church member’s home. As I was driving there I realized how much more confident I felt due to my clothing choices. I wanted to let you know that is because of you and JoLynne. Thanks so much for all your hard work!

  8. Hi, Cyndi! I love that BFTH, and I do too love those white jeans. Just like you, my husband and I were in ministry, and had our hearts broken by some people in our community. That left me with not wanting to ever serve at church, but I pray that my heart heals too. Much love! You are beautiful as always!

  9. Just wondering if you had any ideas or any use for flared white jeans. I got a pair on sale from Free people – they are no longer available. But how could I make them my staple white jean for the spring (note, I am not skinny enough currently to wear a cropped shirt like in this picture – I have one black and white blouse that I intended to go with them but there must be other ideas).

    Thanks! God bless! Kate

  10. I so look worword to seeing your beautiful outfits.but many times I find myself scrolling to the bottom of your page to read “beauty for the heart “. You are always so incouraging with what you share. I’ve been a believer for many years and never tier for hearing Gods word. Thanks for all you do, Blessings, Tara

  11. HI Cyndi – love your blog and view it almost daily. Your style is terrific! Would you mind telling us what shade of nail polish you’re wearing. I’ve been looking for a nice “white” shade that doesn’t look like I’m wearing “whiteout.” Many thanks! -Jan

    1. I asked the same thing a few weeks ago and her answer was : SNS powder #131 barely touch.
My nail salon ‘s # 131 was not barely touch ..it was a dark coral color… so different salons may have different numbers.

  12. Hi Cyndi,
Thank you for your inspiring words and encouragement to us! You are an amazing spiritual lady. We all have a past and it is difficult to shake. But we have to let it go and live in joy! Love and prayers, Peggy

  13. Also, as a (retired) pastor’s wife I can relate. I pray today that your blessings be filled to overflowing and the joy of the Lord is your strength as you lean on Him for wisdom and direction in all you do and say as you give out to others sacrificially. Praying for you both to have a sweet refreshing time.

    1. Cyndy a friend of mine told me when I was young that her Mother told her never to marry a Doctor or a Pastor as you will never see them So guess what happened? She married a Pastor and I married a Doctor. And her Mother was right. But we are both happy so it all worked out. Take care. I love your post

  14. Hey I have been looking for some white jeans! Thank you for the post. Where is the link for the Wal-Mart jeans? In my email I only see the links for the Loft jeans. Thank you

  15. I absolutely LOVE my white jeans!! I even love wearing them all year long, whether with sandals, tennis shoes, or boots!
I also really like Morgan Harper Nichols- she has a way with words that is very special… always hits my heart- like yea…. she gets it.
Thank you for sharing, I do hope you and your pastors wife get to have lunch and it goes really well- be blessed and be a blessing!

  16. Cyndi, I so enjoy reading your posts. I love that you end each one with spiritual encouragement, I look forward to them every day. My husband was in the ministery for 34 years when he died in 2006. We had only been married for 21 years when he passed away. In a lot of ways I miss being in the ministry as a minister’s wife…. but some of our deepest hurts were dished out by people I had known all my life & believed them to be merciful, loving Christian’s. I know none of us are perfect like Christ and I have long since forgiven them for the things they said & did but the hurt is still there. Sometimes it’s just a deep sadness that sweeps over me that people can be so intentionally cruel and never voice any remorse. But, they’ll have to answer for that, if they’ve not asked forgiveness. I can rest in peace knowing I’ve done what Christ asked of us. I pray for comfort when those memories surface for you & your family, as well as mine. Love in Christ

  17. I cannot understand how people profess to be Christians and treat others in ways that is not good – and I see it at my church too. It’s really sad. For everyone who has been hurt by fellow church members or anyone for that matter, I hope God heals you in all ways. When I went thru a really tough time in life one saying that I reminded myself of was, “what doesn’t kill us, makes us stronger”., and my go to bible verse was Romans 8:28. I came out the other side MUCH stronger, and my faith has since been MUCH stronger, and deeper too. In hindsight I believe God allowed some of what I experienced to draw me closer to Him. Prayers and thoughts for all who are hurting. BFTH is beautiful!
White jeans – yes, yes, yes! love them, and I have to find a new favorite pair because since going thru FWTFL nothing in my closet fits – good problem to have, but getting expensive to replace my entire wardrobe. Thanks for all the great recommendations at all the price points – I will definitely be checking those out.

  18. Thank you for sharing your fashion. Thank you for sharing your inner beauty.. Thank you for sharing your decorating ideas and most importantly Thank you for sharing your faith and love for our great God we serve:) love the white jeans!! I’m a big fan and you can’t have too many pairs 😉

  19. Cyndi, BFTH today was very timely for me. Thank you for sharing. I had been meaning to tell you that, although I started reading you for the fashion tips, I really appreciate the Words of encouragement from Scripture that you share.

  20. Cyndi,

Thank you for sharing that quote. My father just passed and there were some things that happened during the viewing and funeral from someone that I thought was a “TRUE” family friend that were just unreal to me. My father worked with him for a very long time and I was floored by his behavior. I needed that today.

  21. Cyndi, thank you for sharing the quote in your email. I just left a position in ministry and walked away with so many hurts. The Lord had to physically move us to another state to release us from the issues. I am claiming this quote for my life, it is so good.
