Happy Friday, ladies! One of the things I love to do in the summer is spending time with my family. Summer cookouts and get-togethers are a huge part of our summer activities.
I like to have some comfortable shorts to wear and of course some cute tops to go with the shorts. JCPenney has a great selection of summer clothes, and I found two short outfits that are perfect for your summer activities.
A sleeveless button-down is perfect for an outdoor cookout. This one comes in several colors and patterns.
A lot of you asked for some stylish and affordable shorts for summer. These denim shorts from JCPenney are stylish and under $15 with code JUNEBUG. I’m wearing the medium blue tide color, and they have some slight distressing.
I paired the outfit with some wedge sandals. I like the white sole and the adjustable strap.

Next up, I’m wearing a St. John’s Bay Off the Shoulder Blouse. This outfit is a little dressier so I wouldn’t be cooking if I wear this blouse and shorts.
The white shorts are a 5″ chino, and they come in several colors; I love white shorts in the summer. These shorts are under $15 with code JUNEBUG.
I dressed this short outfit up with a pair of Unisa Sully Flat Sandals with a cute chain detail.

I haven’t shopped JCP in ages. Glad to see their styles have “caught” up! Where you headed camping? We use to go to the KY Horse Park when we lived in Lex. We moved to Tampa, FL area back mid-80’s for a job and have been here ever since. BUT we Bleed Blue! LOL

Two great looks Cyndi..our weather this week finally warmed up and we have a nice weekend coming after today! Next week even hotter🙌🏻Most of our get togethers are outside in or around the pool or grilling. We did a new fire pit area this spring so we are finishing that up for the summer evenings! Have a great weekend! Also all your emails have been going to junk for the past few weeks! Any way to fix this?
