Summer Style Series: How to Style Sandals with White Jeans

Happy Monday from Mexico! We are vacationing here for a few days, and wow, is it beautiful and hot. It’s my kind of weather!

Jo-Lynne Shane and I are continuing our summer-style series today; we’re sharing how to style sandals with white jeans. Each Monday in June, we’re sharing a summer trend, and we’re asking another over 40 blogger to join us.

The first week we shared How to Style an Eyelet Top, and the second week we shared How to Style a Maxi Dress.

Today, Dawn from Party Til Dawn is joining us! I met Dawn through Instagram and immediately fell in love with her style. I’m so glad she’s joining us, and I can’t wait for you to meet her.

If you have been around here for a long, you know I love a nude or tan-colored sandal, so of course, that’s going to be my choice of sandal with white jeans. Sandals that match your skin tone will visually extend your leg.

Interestingly, I read that if you’re a pear shape (which I am), you also look better with a light-colored top when wearing white jeans. The light-colored top doesn’t accentuate your hip area. That makes sense!

These white jeans are from J.Crew, and I have had them for a few years. They have a raw hemline, and I love the cropped leg for summer.

I’ve been wearing these sandals from EVEREVE a lot. They’re comfortable and go with everything. I also have the clear slide sandal.

Beauty For the Heart~~  Yesterday, I shared this quote on Instagram: “Sit with women who sit at the feet of Jesus. The conversations are different. You walk away feeling inspired, not inferior because those are the women who know this Christian walk is a race, not a competition.”

  1. Hey Cyndi…..interested in the rattan bag. Is the strap as orange leather as it looks on the site? Its hard to tell in your photos. I prefer a terra cotta. Do you find it fits your phone, sunglasses, keys, lipgloss etc. well?

  2. Hi Cyndi! I appreciate your blog and your inspiration for the day. I hope you’re enjoying Mexico! I am searching for some new white crop jeans that won’t break the bank and like the jcrew in this post. I am 5’2” and often cropped end up ankle on me. Will these work?
    Thank you!
    Aimee

    1. Aimee…..I’m 5’3″ and often crop is ankle length on me too, but I’ve cut my jeans off before if they already have a raw hem. Its easy to do. I just did this to a pair of Wit and Wisdom blue jeans Cyndi styled and I ordered but they were too long on me. I cut them off and they are perfect now.

  3. I love the first blouse the best .I also noticed you didn’t have any tees or tanks which I was glad to see. I need a change .
Also, i think it is true to surround yourself with people who shard your values..but then again, it is good that those people are diverse in their religion and race.and nationality. That way we learn new ideas and think outside the box.
